Daggers Posted 16 September 2007 Posted 16 September 2007 As soon as Megson was appointed we read loads of meaningless drivel about 'getting behind the manager'. Come 90 minutes and a full-time whistle, I found out what this meant for the first time: I have only one thing to say to those of you booing at the end of the game. What a bunch of cunts you all are.
Daggers Posted 16 September 2007 Author Posted 16 September 2007 Told you we should "Get behind the manager" Like I say mate, I'm not going to chant his name until he has proved that he can do the job...but I certainly won't 'boo' him or his side off the park either. The side tried, and you don't 'boo' players for that. The percentage of ****wits in our support seems to escalate season upon season. Now it appears that the home fans will boo anything that isn't an outright victory. They don't deserve a team.
Raj Posted 16 September 2007 Posted 16 September 2007 I agreed that you shouldn't just chant a name for the sake of it. However, now you know what i mean when i said Megson is on a hiding to nothing. People are waiting for him to fcuk up so they can say "Told you he was shit, the ginger tw@t" When you read some of the comments after ydays game, its already started. It wont be long before we get the "Megson Out' chants. unfortunately im not joking,as it will happen sooner rather than later.
Daggers Posted 16 September 2007 Author Posted 16 September 2007 Thing is, it's not the people on the forum that are saying Megson is shit. I think he's shit and I think he'll be a failure for us...I'll even go so far as to say that I guarantee that when he does I'll be saying "Haha, told you all so!" Because I will. But I want him to succeed, I want to be proved wrong and I'm not thick enough to believe that booing improves team performance.
Jimmy Posted 16 September 2007 Posted 16 September 2007 they did get behind him, with a bloody great knife in hand ...
Raj Posted 16 September 2007 Posted 16 September 2007 But I want him to succeed Well atleast thats something Because im sure there ARE people who don't want him to succeed... Ginger tw@t

What a bunch of cunts you all are. Yeah I agree. There is no point in booing when a side have tried their best. If none of our players had tried and we lost 2 or 3 nil then there is a reason. It was a hell of a lot better than QPR last season.
davieG Posted 16 September 2007 Posted 16 September 2007 I sit in the Kop, D2 and to the left of me, going up to the back there are about 20 to 30 people that sing through out the game, admittedly mostly anti forest/derby chants but they put in a lot of effort. Yesterday they were also full of Megson's wonderland. Perversely many of them are the same bunch that boo MDV and the team at the end of every game we don't win, so lots of booing then . Are these the same people that come on here and slag the crowd off for not singing through out the game , I wonder!
Hullfox Posted 16 September 2007 Posted 16 September 2007 I'm with Dags on this point. Personally I'm not overawed with things down the city at the moment but for those who booed yesterday I'd love to have a one to one chat just to ascertain the thought trail involved. Maybe it's me who's wrong and I should be booing the team.
Webbo Posted 16 September 2007 Posted 16 September 2007 I never heard any booing at the end of the game, but I did when the Birch brought Megson on. I'm no fan of Megson but I thought that was unnecessary and embarrassing.
Wooly Posted 16 September 2007 Posted 16 September 2007 Our fans are an absolute disgrace to be honest. Absolute disgrace, in nearly every way. The worst type of fans in so many ways - no noise unless we're winning (even then fook all), shit unoriginal songs, no passion, no getting behind the team, no humour, no rivalries, totally sterile. Everything that the kop at Filbert Street was not.
Raj Posted 16 September 2007 Posted 16 September 2007 davie..perhaps they feel as long as they are singing SOMETHING they are doing their bit for the club? Same as some of the L1'ers..they dont care if they sing- "No surrender to the IRA".. "du du du du Matty Fryatt" even though he isn't playing and is probably not at the ground! "Megson is a w@nker" "Fcuk off DeVries you fat cvnt" "always shit on the red side of the trent" even though many of them probably dont know where Nottingham is?? As long as they are singing something its okay!! :

What a bunch of cunts you all are. at the end of the day if people have spent all their free cash on going to the match, have travelled down there to watch Leicester and they go and draw to an awful QPR side at home, and flop at the end of the game so almost lose it then they have a right to boo if their pissed off at the end of the match. It's all in the heat of the moment and they just let out their boos the second the final whistle goes, im sure after thinking about it when they get home they will wonder why the hell did i boo. I didn't boo but i can understand the people who did.

I'm going to go on a personal mission to try and find out where everyone who posts things like this actually sits or stands at the Walkers because they're certainly not all at the back of the Kop or stood in L1.

The 20 people who stand at the back of the Kop make a good effort but are made to look embarrassing by the lack of noise around them. The 200 chavs are the back of L1 don't exactly set the world alight and are the worst kind of wannabe thugs. My season ticket was in the Kop for the first two seasons at he Walkers and in L1 ever since through to this season. I don't have one as I work in London and often work weekends so it's not worth it. Not relevant as whatever you say, my post was 100% correct, and our support is an ABSOLUTE disgrace.
Raj Posted 16 September 2007 Posted 16 September 2007 Everyones entitled to opinions. But YOU shouldn't really hammer people who are atleast TRYING to sing and create an atmosphere. They attend week in week out! The majority of people know it will never be like Filbo but don't hammer people for TRYING

Do you all work weekends too? Put your money where your mouth is and do something about it.
