TPH sounds happy. Which says it all in football terms.

Any chance he can get here before tomorrow. Get him in.

Bloody hell I enjoyed saying that.

All this waiting around to actually see players is boring and time consuming.

It's gonna be much more fun not knowing them.

What they look like, what the play like.

Even if he's crap we can sing a song....

"Come on down to Leicester reserves,

"It ain't the first team you deserves,

"Come to Hinckley and fly the flag,

"Where Sapp is King and fills the bag,

"Don't you grasp that first team shirt,

"One mistake means endless hurt,

"Come to Hinckley and fly the flag,

"Where football's fun and no-one's bad." :D

Dont know the guy but hope he is brilliant. Big concern is he is 33 and might see this as his last payday but cant really be arse as he has been there and done it so we have another one with Andy Johnson syndrome i.e. used to have talent but hides it well. If he is like that I would rather have Mattock who is young hungry and willing to learn.

Ive heard of him but not for a while. Get him in as he cant be any worse than the young lads who play there at the moment.

Leonard admits Feyenoord struggle
Wed 22 Nov, 12:30 PM

Feyenoord defender Philippe Leonard has admitted for the first time that he is having problems settling in at his new club. The Belgium international moved to Rotterdam from Standard Liege at the start of the season, but has been finding it hard to adapt to a different style of play.

Leonard, who previously had a lengthy spell in France with Monaco and Nice, claims the change in league has caused him a number of physical problems.

"The football here is totally different to what I experienced in Belgium and France," said Leonard in the latest edition of Voetbal International magazine.

"There you can let a player who goes on the inside pass by. You keep your zone clear and someone else picks up your direct opponent.

"But here you must chase after him yourself, even if it means running across to the other end of the pitch."

The extra chasing is starting to take its toll on the 32-year-old, who feels that too much of football is being played.

"The rhythm of playing games every three to four days is something I can't handle.

"I notice that on the field, I need to catch my breath way too quickly. I understand why I am benched and it may sound bizarre, but I'm quite happy with it."

Leonard is not ready to throw in the towel, but he does want some breathing space and more time to settle.

"I have to adjust to Dutch football and I will ask my fellow Belgian players in Holland for tips and advice," he added.

Worrying, very worrying. This league doesn't tend to play zonal marking either, so he's fooked.

This is the cover story. We're blowing smoke about this one and then from nowhere, BAM, Neil Lewis is back. Remember him? Yeah? Well he's back. And he's angry.

I heard it was going to be Peter Gilbert

Starting to think football fans do better research on players than the managers buying them. Quotes like this are so telling (if true) and would instantly show the player is not suitable to how we play football. Although he would follow the mould of most of our recent left backs "I thought we were zonal marking boss - thats why I kept letting the guy run past me into someone else's zone". ;)
