He is signing for 2 years with the option of another extra year... That's really amazing because he is the most useless left back in the history of my club Feyenoord. I truly mean that from the heart. He is fat , lazy (Prima Donna) and he is a amazingly terrible man marker. On his debut for us he got outplayed by a right winger over and over and over again so he got dropped to the reserves and the blo*dy same happened there against kids.... I really feel for you Foxes. Things havent been good for you and now you get this overpaid lazy bum as well... Keep hoping for better days fella's. They'll always come (They came to us this season as well) Cheerio..! JoeyB Posted 25 September 2007 Posted 25 September 2007 SOunds like our left side on a normal day then ! The only way were going up is if you turn the table around!

EDIT: Tried to look it up, according to the notriously inaccurare wikipeia he played for them twice.
The People's Hero Posted 25 September 2007 Posted 25 September 2007 He used to be good a few years back. Wouldn't be that gutted. At least perhaps Megson has realised our left flank is a joke.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 25 September 2007 Posted 25 September 2007 Is he the bloke that used to play for Cov? Or is that someone else? What was that blokes name? Sounded like this.
Manwell Pablo Posted 25 September 2007 Posted 25 September 2007 Is he the bloke that used to play for Cov? Or is that someone else? What was that blokes name? Sounded like this. No, although Cov did have a look at him about 8 years ago I think? Philippe Clement?
Fez of Mahrez Posted 25 September 2007 Posted 25 September 2007 No, although Cov did have a look at him about 8 years ago I think?Philippe Clement? Could be Clement yeah, again can't be arsed to look it up, just immediately thought Cov when I saw that name but it wasn't him.

I'm sure Cov were interested in him around that time, France 98 Euro 200 time as he was playing for Belgium then. By all accounts it looks like he's past completley past it now.
FilboFox Posted 25 September 2007 Posted 25 September 2007 Don't worry... he used to play for a Belgian club Standard Liege and he was one of their best players there and was arguably their top defender maybe after Dragutinovic. I don't know what he was doing at Feynoord but I think he'll be good for us in English football.
mancunianfox Posted 25 September 2007 Posted 25 September 2007 He's Foreign therefore he must be good. I think our signings over summer our proof of that.
teblin Posted 25 September 2007 Posted 25 September 2007 Wikipedisa say current club unknown, so could be out of contract?
Fez of Mahrez Posted 25 September 2007 Posted 25 September 2007 He doesn't sound good enough for the reserves, we'd better put him in the first team.
The People's Hero Posted 25 September 2007 Posted 25 September 2007 At least it suggests we're looking for some left-sided players. Do we have the largest squad in the English league game?
Fez of Mahrez Posted 25 September 2007 Posted 25 September 2007 At least it suggests we're looking for some left-sided players.Do we have the largest squad in the English league game? Maybe we're covertly assembling a small army instead and Milan is intent on stirring up tensions in the Balkans again.
Manwell Pablo Posted 25 September 2007 Posted 25 September 2007 I disagree, as a former international player he's perfect for our reserves.
The People's Hero Posted 25 September 2007 Posted 25 September 2007 Maybe we're covertly assembling a small army instead and Milan is intent on stirring up tensions in the Balkans again. Leonard is our guide and inside man to negotiate safe passage through Belgium. Actually, has anyone ever had anything other than a safe passage through Belgium. I prefer TinTin anyway.
The People's Hero Posted 25 September 2007 Posted 25 September 2007 Where's Neil Clement when you need him? At B&Q getting some tools. His missus has her heart set on a pagoda (at this bleedin time of year!) - 'and not one of them shop-bought ones, neither' she was heard to holla. I'd ditch her if I were him, but then I'm not Neil Clement. And I'm bloody glad I'm not cos I hate building pagodas and all other garden-y type wooden furniture.

brookfox Posted 25 September 2007 Posted 25 September 2007 "He is one of the three musketeers (Philippe Léonard, Régis Genaux and Michaël Goossens) from Standard Liège, three promising football players who also enjoyed the party life." Sounds like Taggs is trying to recreate the O'Neill years a little too literally!
Trumpet Posted 25 September 2007 Posted 25 September 2007 He's Foreign therefore he must be good. Im black, do i own a gun Am i allowed to say that?
