Maybes Posted 26 September 2007 Posted 26 September 2007 Big release today, Jst purchased it myself, looks really good I do like a bit of halo. Not the biggest fan of it though.
The People's Hero Posted 26 September 2007 Posted 26 September 2007 I'm a massive fan. I need this game!
Manwell Pablo Posted 26 September 2007 Posted 26 September 2007 I'm a massive fan.I need this game! Me too. But I can't afford it. Oh and Xbox Live is down. Quick question to those of the general forum, been trying to connect my modem dircetly to my Xbox, however unfortuantley the output to my modem is USB and not RJ45, so it wont plug into the back of my Xbox. Like wise the input to my Modem is, erm I'm not sure but it's not RJ45 is some ****ed up square thing so the network cables I got with my Xbox wont connect to the modem. Anyone know how I'm suppose to get this working. I think I'm just going to take the lot down to Game on Saturday and ask them.

If your xbox is close to your PC, you could try connect the xbox to your PC via ethernet and share the connection. Thats how i used to do it, until sky broadband came along and messed it up. Halo's quality by the way, it shows you who and where people are playing online... Its about 2million i think, with most of those being UK/Us, of course..

Thats a non starter unfortunatley, thats how it was working, however my brothers taken the PC I was shareing with off to Uni, now I'm left with a shit one with no Network card and hance no Ethernet output. Also, this PC is built like maximum security prison and I can't get into the basterd to fit one either, not without breaking it permantley. So unfortunantley, I need a direct link from the modem. Annoying.
Dr The Singh Posted 26 September 2007 Posted 26 September 2007 I played today, on a hdtv and I was impressed!!!
Daggers Posted 26 September 2007 Posted 26 September 2007 Come January you can buy it for £20...that's when I'm interested
Manwell Pablo Posted 26 September 2007 Posted 26 September 2007 Come January you can buy it for £20...that's when I'm interested I think like you I did that with Gears of War. The problem being when you get online, everyone is amazing having played solid for 3 months and it takes about 4 weeks of playage before you can even hold your own.

I don't play online mate. Got Gears of War special edition for £20 too - I'll never pay full price for games.
Manwell Pablo Posted 26 September 2007 Posted 26 September 2007 I don't play online mate.Got Gears of War special edition for £20 too - I'll never pay full price for games. Oh. Well no problem then
Daggers Posted 26 September 2007 Posted 26 September 2007 Oh.Well no problem then I tried doing Poker on the 360 and just had loads of drunk American knobheads talking ten to the dozen...I didn't like it and certainly don't want to pay £35 for the pleasure. Gimme the joy of playing with myself anyday
Flexx Posted 26 September 2007 Posted 26 September 2007 Got it today, and so far not very impressed. It's not really my kind of game, but I will keep on playing it anyway.
Phube Posted 26 September 2007 Posted 26 September 2007 Quick question to those of the general forum, been trying to connect my modem dircetly to my Xbox, however unfortuantley the output to my modem is USB and not RJ45, so it wont plug into the back of my Xbox. What's wrong with wi-fi??

I for one think this headset bull shit is a chronic idea. I don't have one and have very little interest in getting one, it would make communicating easier if yanks could communicate on a basic level. Some of the things they come out with is unbelivable, I was playing Saints Row once and there was some serious racial abuse going, some black guy must of got called a (don't read if easily offended) "fuking black nigger" about 20 times before he left, sickening. What's wrong with wi-fi?? Erm, I don't have a wirless router.
Phube Posted 26 September 2007 Posted 26 September 2007 Erm, I don't have a wirless router. Good answer!! I know this is completely different, but the for the Wii you have to buy a USB LAN adaptor... maybe it's the same for Xboxes?
Flexx Posted 26 September 2007 Posted 26 September 2007 Whoever isn't interested in fantasy and all that, do not buy this game. I expected it to be a tad more realistic, like GTA or Call of duty. So far its 40 quid down the drain IMO
The People's Hero Posted 26 September 2007 Posted 26 September 2007 Grand Theft Auto? Realistic? Fu cking 'ell!
Flexx Posted 26 September 2007 Posted 26 September 2007 Grand Theft Auto?Realistic? Fu cking 'ell! I mean real humans and crime. The creatures in this are just boring
Manwell Pablo Posted 26 September 2007 Posted 26 September 2007 Good answer!! I know this is completely different, but the for the Wii you have to buy a USB LAN adaptor... maybe it's the same for Xboxes? Yes but I need one that turns a USB into a Lan, if you get my meaning, all I can see on Ebay is the other way round!
Flexx Posted 26 September 2007 Posted 26 September 2007 Yes but I need one that turns a USB into a Lan, if you get my meaning, all I can see on Ebay is the other way round! Haha just seen that Thracian quote in your sig. Is he being real, or was he joking?
Manwell Pablo Posted 26 September 2007 Posted 26 September 2007 Haha just seen that Thracian quote in your sig. Is he being real, or was he joking? He was being genuine.
Daggers Posted 26 September 2007 Posted 26 September 2007 He was being genuine. You're going to be struggling to make it to the pub if you're still at sodding work.
Gené and Tonic Posted 26 September 2007 Posted 26 September 2007 Crouch you're an idiot. Halo is set in the year 3000 and something. You should have known that before you bought it
Phube Posted 26 September 2007 Posted 26 September 2007 Yes but I need one that turns a USB into a Lan, if you get my meaning, all I can see on Ebay is the other way round! Then I have no idea. You should frequent a Xbox360 forum, they should be able to help you! Try: GamesTM Forum It's multi format but some techy bods should be able to help! Go to Q&A.
