chiefvole Posted 30 September 2007 Posted 30 September 2007 All this bollocks about not being able to get a ticket is nonsense. We didn't sell out the Villa game by a long way and that's far easier to get to.No-one who wants to go to the game will miss out. Statement of fact. villa isn't easier to get to than chelsea on a wednesday night! theres no trains back! but london there's a train back to leicester at 11.40! and at like 10.30! so i'd much rather have a london night game than a birmingham night game! and its only 2 tube stops away a piece of piss! and although there will be a lot of boring bast.ards going i rekon we'll have just as many people who want to stand up and sing and actually do something for the game rather than sit there and moan! i cant wait! and even if there are feebs there i'm gunna do my best for the atmosphere and cheer my team on! HARK NOW HEAR THE LEICESTER SING AND CHELSEA RAN AWAY AND WE WILL FIGHT FOREVER MORE BEACUSE OF BOXING DAY!
FilboFox Posted 30 September 2007 Posted 30 September 2007 Well I can't say its the draw I wanted... Luton or Coventry at home would have been better... but to be honest it'll be great none the less and you never know... we might even pull a bigger win off that the one against Aston Villa!
Ozwin Posted 30 September 2007 Posted 30 September 2007 Aston Villa beat Chelsea Leicester beat Aston Villa Therefor by using trial and error Leicester will win comfortably.
Unit Posted 30 September 2007 Posted 30 September 2007 Aston Villa beat ChelseaLeicester beat Aston Villa Therefor by using trial and error Leicester will win comfortably. Also, Man utd won the league last season, we've got further than them in the carling cup, my trumps rules we're better than the English Premiership Champions.
WetFlannel Posted 30 September 2007 Posted 30 September 2007 school nights bit of a problem but ill still make the effort... come back off holidays 3 days before phew... there is a god
Finn Claw Posted 30 September 2007 Posted 30 September 2007 and its only 2 tube stops away a piece of piss! Fulham broadway is miles from Kings Cross - where most of leicester will come from. I got given a free to ticket to the Chelsea Fulham game yesterday, good atmosphere inside the ground, it holds the noise in well. Chelsea were very disjointed, it is as good a time as any to play them now.
samingram_uk Posted 30 September 2007 Posted 30 September 2007 HARK NOW HEAR THE LEICESTER SINGAND CHELSEA RAN AWAY AND WE WILL FIGHT FOREVER MORE BEACUSE OF BOXING DAY! Am i right in saying, this song is to do with chelsea coming into the Kop at filbo on a boxing day game, and leicester fans not liking it at all???
demon_dog Posted 30 September 2007 Posted 30 September 2007 Can't go, due to work commitments. Hope I can pick up the online commentary.
Joe. Posted 30 September 2007 Posted 30 September 2007 Weak, it says it's on the Tuesday according to BBC <_< Wednesday would have been so much better.
Matt Posted 30 September 2007 Posted 30 September 2007 Just been down to the train station and the plan for me is take half a day holiday the Tuesday/Wednesday (Whatever day the game is) go down on the train that afternoon, Stop at my cousin's after the match book half a day holiday Wednesday/Thursday get the train back about 9am. But there may be a flaw in my plan, my cousin's g/f's mum might be over from Oz at that time so there will be no room to stop at his place, so i'd then have to just go on Fox Travel if thats the case. Train tickets for the original plan are £10 single (£20 return) so that's a good enough price for me, just gotta wait for the ticket prices for the game now.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 30 September 2007 Posted 30 September 2007 If we're going to go out of the competition, we may as well do it against one of the big guns, and there isn't going to be a better time to take on Chelsea than right now...
David O'Leary Posted 30 September 2007 Posted 30 September 2007 Aston Villa beat ChelseaLeicester beat Aston Villa Therefore by using trial and error Leicester will win comfortably. Easy then.
WetFlannel Posted 30 September 2007 Posted 30 September 2007 mattock possibly against shaun wright phillips - that would be some test...
lcfc_jme Posted 30 September 2007 Posted 30 September 2007 Tuesday is a genius day for this tie to be played. I finish college at 12. I'm a fan for sure. Keen. And all that.
Raj Posted 30 September 2007 Posted 30 September 2007 Its a great tie for LCFC. BUT i hope this game does not take peoples minds off our bread and butter of the League. No use doing well i a Cup if we fae another relegation battle is it??? Lets concentrate on the League until the Chelsea game is in sight.,. If i was Megson i would ban all talk of the Chelsea game until a few days befor. Im a bastard you see...id also ban farting!
chiefvole Posted 30 September 2007 Posted 30 September 2007 Am i right in saying, this song is to do with chelsea coming into the Kop at filbo on a boxing day game, and leicester fans not liking it at all??? well its not really a song just about leicester and chelsea shef wed sing it about shef utd and also for all those people who dont think chelsea will care about us they sing about us at neary ever game 'we all follow the chelsea over land and sea' then the chelsea fans shout 'and leiceser'! bit random i know oh well!

I was told the "And Leicester" bit was to do with road signs on the M1. (Something like a sign saying something like "The North and Leicester") and the Chelsea fans decided to add it to there song.

Joe. Posted 30 September 2007 Posted 30 September 2007 I'm hoping the BBC have just put Tuesday as the default until the date is actually confirmed

Matt Posted 30 September 2007 Posted 30 September 2007 BBC wont know, yet because the club officials will start arranging it on Monday! But the date of the game has nothing to do with the club officials (does it?) surly it would be the FA/Whoever arranges the competition's decision the date, And then the TV will decide they don't want it that day so will change it no doubt Because this one will be on sky, because it's Chelsea
