Ultra Posted 29 September 2007 Posted 29 September 2007 8-1-1 at the bridge ; then back at the walkers to give them one hell of a beating There are no replays. If drawn, the game goes to extra time and penalties. Much as I'd wish to think otherwise, I very much doubt we'll pull off the win which would surely end Avram Grant's stint as boss of Chelski.

Pete_foxes Posted 29 September 2007 Posted 29 September 2007  Get in, what a tie this is going to be!
David O'Leary Posted 29 September 2007 Posted 29 September 2007 Am i the only one feeling a bit disappointed about this? Yes. CHELSEA AWAY :w00t:
Milky Posted 29 September 2007 Posted 29 September 2007 Televised maybe? No chance surely. If it was at home, maybe.

Bert Posted 29 September 2007 Posted 29 September 2007 Televised maybe? I think it might be. Chelsea haven't been on tv in the carling cup yet. Was Arse and Chelsea last round.

act smiley Posted 29 September 2007 Posted 29 September 2007 Bah, I wanted Cardiff away, a perfect chance to keep a clean sheet against a Fowler and Hasslebaink strike partnership. Also wouldn't have cost a billion pounds to go. It always seems like a fix to me when there's no tie without a premiership side, even though statistically its not quite eyebrow raising time. Strangely, I watched the draw with a mate who predicted most of it.
Simi Posted 29 September 2007 Posted 29 September 2007 This is when all our fans will come out like Coventry's and we'll take 9-10k probably.... Train is a possibility for this one. Fox Travel will leave at silly time.

Nath Posted 29 September 2007 Posted 29 September 2007 Can we become first team to win at Stamford Bridge since november 2004?
City Fan Posted 29 September 2007 Posted 29 September 2007 Can we become first team to win at Stamford Bridge since november 2004? Charlton etc. have won at Stamford Bridge since then, that record is just for the Premiership, not all cup competitions.
David O'Leary Posted 29 September 2007 Posted 29 September 2007 Can we become first team to win at Stamford Bridge since november 2004? probably not but will still be a great expeirence (sp?)
MPH Posted 29 September 2007 Posted 29 September 2007 Can we become first team to win at Stamford Bridge since november 2004? . we'll most likely lose every league game between now and then and go on to scrape a 1-0 with a spooner off of hume's left kneee cap..
Bert Posted 29 September 2007 Posted 29 September 2007 Charlton etc. have won at Stamford Bridge since then, that record is just for the Premiership, not all cup competitions. They drew. Then won on penalties. So Jose said it didn't count.

Ah ok then, sorry about that. Then yes we can do them... We just have to fight for everyball, chelsea are use to time on the ball (Like the whole of the premiership)
