Ultra Posted 24 October 2007 Posted 24 October 2007 Arsenal won 7-0, while Man Yoo won 4-2 away to Kiev. Good to know there are still SOME teams in England who can play successful, attractive football..
Dames Posted 24 October 2007 Posted 24 October 2007 I don't know why Phube hates Arsenal so much they really do play some lovely stuff which is a rareity in todays game.
ASH17LCFC Posted 24 October 2007 Posted 24 October 2007 Arsenal play sexy football, if i could support anyone be Arsenal. What a team they are and they pass the ball so easy. Break so quick from defence and score goals for fun. I hope they win it all this season. Wenger best manager also ... builds teams on no money, yet they always end up being awesome.
Koke Posted 24 October 2007 Posted 24 October 2007 Alexander Helb is seriously under-rated. The guy is ****ing immense.
Micky Ruddle Posted 24 October 2007 Posted 24 October 2007 It's good to see the one and only Englishman score for Arsenal for some time Match of the Day, it's always good to see Arsenal attack. Fantastic to watch. But no...i'm no armchair supporter.
purpleronnie Posted 25 October 2007 Posted 25 October 2007 Thats the end for liverpool, pretty easy group aswell. I think the manager's tactics have been poor.
Simi Posted 25 October 2007 Posted 25 October 2007 Absolutely brilliant goal by Besiktas.2-0 They should of got that earlier. Hard on Celtic as you thought they'd done enough. Their keeper was immense throughout.
DanTheFoxBhoy Posted 6 November 2007 Posted 6 November 2007 Liverpool 8-0, very impressive. Celtic 1-0 over Benfica leaves us 3rd in the group and equal points to Shakhtar, if we can beat them at home then we'll have a chance at qualifying for the final 16 again.

Did you see that twats tackle on Celtics Scott Brown he should be banned for life he tried to snap his leg
Tevez Posted 6 November 2007 Posted 6 November 2007 I'm dreading listening to the fake scousers at school tommorow.
DanTheFoxBhoy Posted 6 November 2007 Posted 6 November 2007 No chance pal I mean we're playing Shakhtar at Celtic Park A win there is not impossible - we've beat both Milan and Benfica there so far Did you see that twats tackle on Celtics Scott Brown he should be banned for life he tried to snap his leg Nah I'm at work, waiting for the highlights
Head Honcho Posted 6 November 2007 Posted 6 November 2007 I mean we're playing Shakhtar at Celtic Park A win there is not impossible - we've beat both Milan and Benfica there so far Nah I'm at work, waiting for the highlights It's looking better then it did this morning. Milan beating Shaktar 3-0 did them the world of good and you never know Milan may well have qualified by the time they play Celtic so may rest key players A 2-0 win minimum at Celtic Park and avoiding a hammering at Milan is required!
Manwell Pablo Posted 7 November 2007 Posted 7 November 2007 Valencia 0 Rosenberg 2 (Iversen 31,58) Thats easily the funniest score line of the night. Stephan Iversen brace against Valencia, Lars Hirschfield, clean sheet against Valencia. Funny funny funny.

Ultra Posted 7 November 2007 Author Posted 7 November 2007 Did you see that twats tackle on Celtics Scott Brown he should be banned for life he tried to snap his leg I did - it was dreadful... Can't believe Brown got up. He must have some seriously strong shinpads!
Simi Posted 7 November 2007 Posted 7 November 2007 Horrible. I hope he's banned for a long time and fined a lot of money. If they want to clamp down on diving, they have to do the same for this. Every time I watch the replay, it gets worse. Disgraceful.
DanTheFoxBhoy Posted 8 November 2007 Posted 8 November 2007 I did - it was dreadful... Can't believe Brown got up. He must have some seriously strong shinpads! Here it is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KOsRnN8EBW0 Disgraceful. One of the worst I've seen. UEFA disciplinary committee are meeting on the 15th to decide his punishment.

Theres a way to make a name for yourself, awfull challenge. Doubt Benfica will miss him if he gets a lengthy suspension.
