ronnup Posted 24 October 2007 Posted 24 October 2007 Yeah he's been awesome this season.Erm... can't be a one man team. No excuse. especially given our recruitment of strikers.
Ric Flair Posted 24 October 2007 Posted 24 October 2007 .... but last night shows just how much we rely on Ian Hume. We missed him big time. Iain Hume cannot get this team to create genuine chances though. Ok, so he upsets other teams rythm, which is essential when we play like we do. But this season Hume has been as dreadful as the others at times, because he's not getting the ball in space which he needs to hurt teams effectively. People might make out that Iain Hume isn't actually that good, but he's more than good enough at this level to score 15+ goals a season and to create 5-10 more for others and that's been proved in a shit team. If we played to his strengths and had a team that played football that didn't herald from the 80's then he could be someone who other teams feared. But right now, he's as bad as the rest of them.
Manwell Pablo Posted 24 October 2007 Posted 24 October 2007 I hate to say it but Humes been just as bad as the rest of our strikers this season and will continue to be just as bad as the rest of our strikers until we sort out the distrubution coming from behind them.

Staf Posted 24 October 2007 Posted 24 October 2007 We definetly miss him but we are not a one man team
SamL Posted 24 October 2007 Posted 24 October 2007 We miss him! He shows passion which no one who played last night did except maybe weso/chambers. But we're not a one man team. If only everyone showed as much passion as humey did
Joe. Posted 24 October 2007 Posted 24 October 2007 We might miss him a bit, but let's face it he's hardly set the league alight this season. To be quite honest he's generally been poor, although still the best out of the lot.
Raj Posted 24 October 2007 Posted 24 October 2007 We definetly miss him but we are not a one man team One man team?? we aint even a fcuking one man team at the moment!!!!
