Talk is rife at our place that Paddy Mccarthy (our under 21 irish international central defender) is going to be signing for leicester in the next 24 hours (subject to medical). A lot of MCFC fans are extremely pissed about this - including me. Had a great crack with some of you lot at leicester last year when we drew 1-1. I couldnt believe how many leicester shirts with thatcher on the back. Im still amazed cos now ive seen him play!!

misterboj Posted 2 March 2005 Author Posted 2 March 2005 No he has not played yet for the first team much to the annoyance of many of us. That link is 100% typical Keegan. We have a defensive injury crisis for Mondays game with Bolton (thatchers injured ) No he really is!! So in his wisdom Keegan offloads one of our brightest prospects before seeing if he can cut the mustard in the Prem. I can virtually guarantee he will be a quality signing for you as was Elliott for Sunderland (his best mate) and he will score in his first game against us.

We are currently in posession of the best crop of youngsters the club has had in nearly 20 years and it seems other clubs will benefit from our work. Very disheartening to watch happen as a supporter. The board gave KK over 50m to spend and he bought overpaid, overweight, under performing has beens. We are so lucky to have the kids we have got but the guy refuses to play them. So inevitably when a club comes in offering first team football they're off in a flash. Martin O Neill will be our saviour however but that's another story.
