Raj Posted 29 October 2007 Posted 29 October 2007 apparently thats alot easier to get away with in Germany. Just hope Hertha Berlin dont have their own version of Kev Barkley in charge of Health and Safety. "You Vill Sit Down.NOW! (In German accent)".....

Just hope Hertha Berlin dont have their own version of Kev Barkley in charge of Health and Safety."You Vill Sit Down.NOW!"..... One end is standing I believe Manwell. Thats the case at most German grounds, you'll find that part of the away end is standing as well. They don't have twats like Barclay either!! EDIT: Appears that this is one of the few ground without SAFE STANDING. I believe they do stand at the end of the stadium though
MC Prussian Posted 29 October 2007 Posted 29 October 2007 NORMALPREIS What in leaping lederhosens does that mean. Ändern Sie die gewünschte Karten-Anzahl. Change the desired number of tickets. Wenn Sie eine bestimmte Sitzplatz-Kategorie ausgewählt haben, ändern Sie diese Auswahl in "Bestverfügbar"". Once you've selected a certain seat category, change this order into "best available". Wenn Sie keine Karten finden können, versuchen Sie es öfters noch einmal. Denn wenn der Termin einer Veranstaltung nahe rückt, wird häufig noch eine gewisse Anzahl Karten für den Verkauf freigegeben. In case you couldn't find any tickets, try again multiple times. Once the date of an event gets closer, often times, a certain number of additional tickets is up for sale. Wenn Sie einen Promotion-Code eingegeben haben, prüfen Sie, ob dieser Code für den Kartenpreis und die Kriterien (Sitzplatzwahl etc.) gültig ist, die Sie ausgewählt haben. If you've entered a promotion code, please check whether this code is valid for the ticket price and the criteria (your choice of seat, etc.) you've selected. And that. More?
Manwell Pablo Posted 29 October 2007 Author Posted 29 October 2007 More? Nah done it now, had to get the expert in, I don't know my Frankfurters from my KreditKardennumbers.
Wezleylowski Posted 29 October 2007 Posted 29 October 2007 Went to the Olympic stadium this year.Didnt see a game just did the tour. Even the Mrs was impressed Beautiful ground and historic too cos of the Jesse Owens/Hitler connection. Jesse Owens was a true legend. He new how to stick it to the man
Raj Posted 29 October 2007 Posted 29 October 2007 Jese Owens was a true legend. He new how to stick it to the man Was. And Tis amazing to see a plaque there commemorating his achievements. Plus the Olympic flame'thingy' is there and the track at the back of the ground where it all took place!
MC Prussian Posted 29 October 2007 Posted 29 October 2007 There are to many stadiums called the Olympic Stadium, fact. But only one as beautiful as this one:
Vacamion Posted 30 October 2007 Posted 30 October 2007 My favourite German football song, to the tune of "Michael row the boat ashore" Was ist gruen und stinkt nach Fisch ? Werder Bremen ! Was ist gruen und stinkt nach Fisch ? Werder Bre-eh-men !

Manwell Pablo Posted 30 October 2007 Author Posted 30 October 2007 But only one as beautiful as this one: It does look excellent. Also my tickets, get this, 8 euros 50 I'm suspicious shes got kids tickets but if she has I'll have a field day laughing at her ("I can speak German" err no you can't) and I'm sure I'll be able to convince the nice Germans to let me in anyway, I'll just remind them that their country nearly bombed mine into the ground at this is the least they can do to make up for it. As good as it looks. That also looks amazing, will go there if we don't qualify for the Euros I think, best mates a pretty big Roma fan, and what girl doesn't want to go to Rome, so wont be short of people to go with.

Tickets for the Bayern clash start at 21.50, the Hanover and Leverkusen matchups are slightly cheaper. I reckon you're going for the Hanover game, eh?

MC Prussian Posted 30 October 2007 Posted 30 October 2007 got two on the curves for 8.50. Don't expect 70'000 others to show up. Half the stadium will probably be empty (and the Olympiastadion is HUGE). I've been there, it's a massive construction (there's this nostalgic 1930ies feel to it). There was nobody around, no security, so I walked onto the pitch. Me and my buddy threw a coin at the kick-off spot - just for fun.
