Karljohn Posted 31 October 2007 Posted 31 October 2007 How crap is his co commentary, bias towards cockney's......awful.
mat_j101 Posted 31 October 2007 Posted 31 October 2007 Hes the worst commentator i think ive ever heard. He doesnt sound like a proper commentator, more like a bloke just sitting in a pub shooting the bull with his mates. Absolutely crap.
anotherwin Posted 31 October 2007 Posted 31 October 2007 How crap is his co commentary, bias towards cockney's......awful. On the contrary, I thought he did a good account, he was well gutted when we lost
East-Stand Posted 31 October 2007 Posted 31 October 2007 Totally disagree. His punditry is different class. Talks sense, balanced views and honesty. Better than Walshie.
Toby or not Toby Posted 31 October 2007 Posted 31 October 2007 How can you moan aty his commentary? he won us the 1997 league cup what more do you want
Bluefoxtim Posted 31 October 2007 Posted 31 October 2007 I thought he was great...seriously Would you rather have Gary Rowett? zzz
Bryn Posted 31 October 2007 Posted 31 October 2007 He was alright. When I saw this thread I thought you were going to say "Claridge for Manager!", then we really would have had to flame you.
Libertine Posted 31 October 2007 Posted 31 October 2007 He was fine. Not great, but I have no complaints.
ForestFilbert Posted 31 October 2007 Posted 31 October 2007 A Leicester legend!! Loved his co-commentary, sheer passion for Leicester. I don't want to hear in depth analysis and boring footballing non bias. He was superb!!!! Anyone agree?
ASH17LCFC Posted 31 October 2007 Posted 31 October 2007 The man is a legend and a nice guy but a shit commentator. Too much like how we would all be if we where commentators. Too much of a fan.
sackmycook Posted 1 November 2007 Posted 1 November 2007 hes a right tw@t if you think thats bad you can hear him arguing with gabrielle marcotti on talksport and i regard gab as someone who knows his football. clardige just tries to argue everything he says. & hes not articulate.
mancunianfox Posted 1 November 2007 Posted 1 November 2007 The man is a legend and a nice guy but a shit commentator. Too much like how we would all be if we where commentators. Too much of a fan. Unless you were doing commentary which would be so negative that our supporters would be jumping into open graves.
Micky Ruddle Posted 1 November 2007 Posted 1 November 2007 Suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuupaaahhhh Super Steve Suuuuper Super Steve Suuuuper Super Steve Super Stevie Claridge. Enough said
Wils Posted 1 November 2007 Posted 1 November 2007 How crap is his co commentary, bias towards cockney's......awful. I didnt think so ? Totally disagree. His punditry is different class. Talks sense, balanced views and honesty. Better than Walshie. Agreed.
adam Posted 1 November 2007 Posted 1 November 2007 Different Class to Walsh( who still isnt bad) oh and he doesnt tout himself about for the managers job every 5 minutes!
Ozwin Posted 1 November 2007 Posted 1 November 2007 Steve Clarridge was awesome. He speaks the most sense out of all the commentators who speak for Leicester Sound. >_> What are you lot talking about? He speaks absolutely perfect sense and last night his comments really added to the excitement I had for the game. >_> You moan when we have the other commentators and moan when we get someone decent in, you don't know how to be pleased about anything.
Rich Fox Posted 1 November 2007 Posted 1 November 2007 hes a right tw@t if you think thats bad you can hear him arguing with gabrielle marcotti on talksport and i regard gab as someone who knows his football. clardige just tries to argue everything he says. & hes not articulate. Your making yourself lok very silly calling stevie claridge a twat on here after he won us promotion and league cup, he is a foxes legend an always will be.
davnet Posted 1 November 2007 Posted 1 November 2007 How crap is his co commentary, bias towards cockney's......awful. I thought he was ok but he sounded a bit drunk!!!! Did anybody else think that????
filbertboy Posted 1 November 2007 Posted 1 November 2007 a legend no doubt about it...will never forget those two goals.......palace and boro replay !
Mighty Muzzy Posted 2 November 2007 Posted 2 November 2007 Leicester legend he may be...but he is still a rubbish telly pundit.
wirralsimon Posted 2 November 2007 Posted 2 November 2007 I thought he was ok but he sounded a bit drunk!!!! Did anybody else think that???? Unlikely, he's more or less teetotal. As he says about his gambling losses - I would love to be able to say I spent it all on wine woman and song, but I didn't like the wine, the woman didn't like me, and I can't sing! Simon
