Monk Posted 1 November 2007 Posted 1 November 2007 Fiiiiiiiiiiiive Ormondroyds! Four Ormondroyds Three Ormondroyds Two Ormondroyds And and an EEEE AN Ormondroyd
dandannieldanok Posted 1 November 2007 Posted 1 November 2007 Fulop 9 - Will be disappointed to have let 4 in but it oculd have been double figures without his magnificent saves. Stearman 6.5 - Caught out a few times but defended well against Sinclair. Kisnorbo 7 - Some vital interceptions, clearances e.t.c. McAuley 7.5 - Great header for the goal and defended very well. N'Gotty 7 - Kept the front two quiet with an efficient performance. Sheehan 7 - Forced to defend more than attack but provided good quality on set-play again. Chambers 6 - Worked very hard but too many misplaced passes. Kenton 6.5 - Crunching tackles, slightly off the pace but kept the ball when we needed it most. Newton 7 - Suprised he was took off, definetly are biggest threat of the midfield three, defended better than usual too. Fryatt 7 - Unlcuky not to get a really good chance in front of goal, some tricky runs. Cort 8.5 - Talisman , won his fair share against defenders of his size and took his only chance, linked up well. SUBS: Porter N/A - Wasn't really on long enough to give a rating but showed real spark and promise, great assist. Campbell 7 - Unsuprisingly didn't get much service but calmly despatched his only chance. Maybury 6.5 - I'm sure his shot was destined for the top-corner without the deflection, got through some good defensive work.
lcfc_jme Posted 1 November 2007 Posted 1 November 2007 I'm not even going to attempt to rate the players after that yesterday. They all gave everything they had but in the end the gulf in class and the multi-million pound signings did as they were expected and secured the win. They all did me proud, they were a credit to the club and every one of them deserves all the praise they receive today.
Leonisco Posted 1 November 2007 Posted 1 November 2007 Some **** idiots were stood sat second from back row havin a go at everyone! didnt sing at all. Said they couldnt see cos i was standin up to the left of them or summin. Kept moanin at the players & everythin! did my head in! swear the geezer nearly knocked me out for standin up ! his missus was not happy Sounds like you had a similar experience to me. We were at about four rows from the back and the old people behind kept telling us to sit down. Still a fooking great night though!
Ozwin Posted 1 November 2007 Posted 1 November 2007 I can't believe how well Cort played. He seemed to be completely different to what we've seen of hm this season, the same has to go for DJ though too, I though he had a great game for what he played.
Simi Posted 1 November 2007 Posted 1 November 2007 Sounds like you had a similar experience to me. We were at about four rows from the back and the old people behind kept telling us to sit down.Still a fooking great night though! There was no chance in Hell last night I was going to sit down. I've not sat down once at ANY away game this season and I don't plan to. Clubs and fans need to use common sense and realize people that want to stand, will, plus they will go to the back. Erm, unreserved seating anyone?!

Clubs and fans need to use common sense and realize people that want to stand, will, plus they will go to the back. Erm, unreserved seating anyone?! Only problem was, we a commentary box directly above us, so if we'd stood up it would've meant them not being able to see the pitch at all. Which is fair enough really, yeah I was annoyed at having to sit for most of the game (after DJ's goal we just went and stood on the stairs ) but they've paid money for their ticket so they have a right to at least see the pitch. If it had been a case of them just being mardy, I doubt I'd've been so accommodating.
David O'Leary Posted 1 November 2007 Posted 1 November 2007 Carl Cort was immense last night. I'd never thought I would see the day somebody say that. Honestly
Raikkonen Posted 1 November 2007 Posted 1 November 2007 Fulop - 9 Kisnorbo - 7 N Gotty - 7 Sheehan - 7 Stearman -7 Kenton - 6 Chambers - 8 - Newton - 6 Fryatt - 7 - Cort - 7 -
Manager Posted 2 November 2007 Posted 2 November 2007 My ratings - for what they are worth! Fulop - 8 (Dealt with everything - didn't deserve to concede 4) N'Gotty - 7 Kisnorbo - 7 McAuley - 8 (Part of a solid back 3 - extra 1 for his goal) Stearman - 6 (Tough evening - was exposed a few times) Sheehan - 8 (Who is SWP? - Kept him in his pocket all night AND extra 1 for superb free kick) Chambers - 7 (Great work rate - valuable team member to-night) Newton - 7.5 (Tried manfully to stem the Chelski tide - suceeded most of the time) Kenton - 6 (Did good and was not outclassed) Cort - 8 (Made a nuisance of himself - goal was so LCFC!) Fryatt - 7 (Won more than his share - good night at the office) Subs: Porter - 6 (Looked lively - great assist - and was unlucky to-night) Cambell - 7 (Showed some quality - good goal - needs more games) Maybury - ? - (Fillled a gap - couldn't really rate him) Referee - 7 (Did not give many home town decisions) Burrows & Taggart - 7.5 (Correct tactics - although the team tired a little) Fans: 12! Lampard - 9 (Bossed midfield and was the difference to-night) Chelski - 6 (Looked like 10 merceneraies - all trying to make/keep their 1st team places) Leicester showed on/off/outside the pitch what REAL support should be! Keep your chin up Leicester City!
Leicester's 12th Man Posted 2 November 2007 Posted 2 November 2007 Sheehan deffo more than 6, gotta be 7 at least or 8 as the guy above me has given him
Mighty Muzzy Posted 2 November 2007 Posted 2 November 2007 I thought Chambers did well but his ball control let him down at times. If he could have kept it tighter, we would have had more chances. But then again, who am I to complain. After all, Shevers himself cost more than the entire Foxes crew put together.

Sinclair - 6 Shevchenko - 6 Pizarro - 5 Malouda - 5 Essien - 7 Kalou - 5 Cleary biased and marking our players up due to their lack of abilty
jonw88 Posted 2 November 2007 Posted 2 November 2007 I think Ballacks signing on fee was more than our whole squad cost I think John Terry's hourly pay rate is higher than what all our players are worth! Credit to us then!
lee7 Posted 2 November 2007 Posted 2 November 2007 the whole team 10 because of the amount of effort they all put in.
