lcfc2k Posted 1 November 2007 Posted 1 November 2007 Hi after just having got in form the game as a student in London - Just like to say great effort by all the lads and the atmosphere by our lads was Excellent - LCFC 4 LIFE and Til I Die was a tremendous night!!!! MOM : Fulop - 9 Excellent in Goal Kept Us in The Game with some fine match winning saves unlucky to be on the losing side - make him perm!!! McCauly - 7 Kisnorbo - 7 N Gotty - 7 Sheehan - 6 Stearman -6 Kenton - 6 Chamber - 8 - Close to being MOM ran his heart out and showed his class! Newton - 6 Fryatt - 7 - Great cross for first goal, lacks pace Cort - 7 - Won vital headers, scored a goal but does give off a very lazy impression when it comes to defending as a team! DJ - 7 - Did the right things when came on, and accurate headed goal! Levi - couldt really rate but good coss for DJ - looks like a bad injury he picked up too! This is my verdict based on how they payed against a strong chelsea line up - They all get 10 for commitment to the cause big hearts!!!
Fez of Mahrez Posted 1 November 2007 Posted 1 November 2007 I find it impossible to mark them tonight. Just proud.
leicesterseddon Posted 1 November 2007 Posted 1 November 2007 Fulop 9 n'Gotty 8 Kisnorbo 8 Mc Auley 8 stearman 6 chambers 7 newton 8 sheehan 8 kenton 5 (stopped following lampard into the box before his second) cort 8 fryatt 7
Tevez Posted 1 November 2007 Posted 1 November 2007 I jizzed over Kenton and Cort they were fooking good. Stearman got his arse smacked by Sinclair, but i'm not bothered, what a valiant effort.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 1 November 2007 Posted 1 November 2007 I jizzed over Kenton and Cort they were fooking good. Stearman got his arse smacked by Sinclair, but i'm not bothered, what a valiant effort. This seems to be a common occurance with you
James. Posted 1 November 2007 Posted 1 November 2007 F**k knows. I don't think I've watched any game with such a blinded view of how well anyone played. It was just a blue mist of shouting, singing, jumping, laughing, smiling, anger, pain and elation. Brilliant.
SamL Posted 1 November 2007 Posted 1 November 2007 Some **** idiots were stood sat second from back row havin a go at everyone! didnt sing at all. Said they couldnt see cos i was standin up to the left of them or summin. Kept moanin at the players & everythin! did my head in! swear the geezer nearly knocked me out for standin up ! his missus was not happy
Corky Posted 1 November 2007 Posted 1 November 2007 Morning guys, I didn't go but I am so proud of the boys. Watching the highlights we played so well and if Cort's header had gone in I think we would have done it. Brilliant effort from the players, and I don't think Chelsea will be pushed that hard at the Bridge again for a long time. I have another account on 606 and you wouldn't believe the amount of stick we got for losing from Derby (YES DERBY) and Coventry fans. We have scored four more away goals at Premiership clubs than the Sheep have, and Coventry. WHO? I will be at Colchester on Saturday evening, and I believe we can get three points towards our march up the table.
OriginalRobboFOX Posted 1 November 2007 Posted 1 November 2007 Corts header would have made it 4-2!!! Imagine that!!!
Boycie Posted 1 November 2007 Posted 1 November 2007 Cort had to be MOM for me he made Alex look crap. Reckon if Clemence have played reckon Lamps wouldnt have scored, but ahwell well played boys!
Jay Posted 1 November 2007 Posted 1 November 2007 Cort had to be MOM for me he made Alex look crap. Reckon if Clemence have played reckon Lamps wouldnt have scored, but ahwell well played boys! some might say that he doesn't need much help in that department!! I think with a few more set pieces and maybe a few corners we might have been out of sight, Chelsea were just appaling at defending them!! as for scores 10s all round pride passion belief and judging by the comments of a fair few chelsea fans we gave them the toughest game at the bridge for a long while!! you can't be critical of a performance like that to the last man everyone gave their best and as a result you can't ask for anything more
The People's Hero Posted 1 November 2007 Posted 1 November 2007 Proud of all of them. So so proud. Good to see some of the new boys like Chambers getting straight in to that Leicester mould of overcoming any difference in ability with pure workrate. He was phenomenal - what an athlete. So much running in him.
Mickey O'Neil Posted 1 November 2007 Posted 1 November 2007 Looking at the Chelski forums, they really rated Fulops performance. Get him in permanently for fooks sake! I'm so proud of them all though.
Jay Posted 1 November 2007 Posted 1 November 2007 Looking at the Chelski forums, they really rated Fullops performance. Get him in permanently for fooks sake! I'm so proud of them all though. yep it needs to done in Jaunary lets hope we managed to get a cheeky clause in the contract about making it permanent his value is going up with every game. he clearly loves it here
teblin Posted 1 November 2007 Posted 1 November 2007 Proud of all of them. So so proud.Good to see some of the new boys like Chambers getting straight in to that Leicester mould of overcoming any difference in ability with pure workrate. He was phenomenal - what an athlete. So much running in him. Agree just wish he passed to leicester players but they we all awesome last night!
The People's Hero Posted 1 November 2007 Posted 1 November 2007 Agree just wish he passed to leicester players but they we all awesome last night! His passing was indeed suspect at times but I was amazed at the amount of running in him. What an athlete.
Bert Posted 1 November 2007 Posted 1 November 2007 Cort in fairness did look class. So did Levi when he came on. Everyone gave there all last night, so they alll get a 10 from me. If we lose every week with our players giving every last bit like they did last night, i wouldn't be half as pissed off as i am when we lose now.
Dr The Singh Posted 1 November 2007 Posted 1 November 2007 Fulop 8 n'Gotty 8 Kisnorbo 7 Mc Auley 6 stearman 5 chambers 7 newton 7 sheehan 7 kenton 5 cort 8 fryatt 6
Cheese Me Posted 1 November 2007 Posted 1 November 2007 Carl Cort was immense last night. Very true. And so was Chambers. Crowd were amazing too and the team pulled together really well. We had five right backs on the pitch at the end of the game but still looked like we'd have scored again if we had a bit more time.
Mr Happy Posted 1 November 2007 Posted 1 November 2007 Well done lads Did yourselves proud last night. I'm not actually going to rate any of them because of this, though I did think that Chambers, Newton, Kissa, Cort and DJ had exceptional games, Fulop his usual self with some class saves, Porter added something extra until his untimely injury - hope he isn't out for too long - and maybe after two top class games, we already have our new manager? Corts header would have made it 4-2!!! Imagine that!!! Carl Cort was immense last night. After Cort's class performance last night I think thats it now. He isn't going to score again for us so in january we should offload him... I maybe wrong but I doubt it
Ultra Posted 1 November 2007 Posted 1 November 2007 Fulop - 8* Stearman - 6 N'Gotty - 7 McAuley - 7 Kisnorbo - 7 Sheehan - 7 Kenton - 7 Chambers - 6 Newton - 6 Cort - 7 Fryatt - 6 Campbell - 7 Porter - 7 Maybury - 6 In comparison.. Cudicini - 5 Belletti - 6 Alex - 5 Ben Haim - 4 P. Ferreira - 5 Wright-Phillips - 5 Sidwell - 5 Lampard - 9* (shame he can't play like that for England!) Sinclair - 6 Shevchenko - 6 Pizarro - 5 Malouda - 5 Essien - 7 Kalou - 5
GianEmmo Zola Posted 1 November 2007 Posted 1 November 2007 Fulop 10 Bruno man mountain 10 Kisnorbo solid 10 Mcauley 10 Stearman 10 Sheehan 10 Newton 10 Kenton 10 Chambers 10 Fryatt 10 Cort 10 wat a game for him work his socks off won headers scored ! finally! DJ 10 great goal, fine glancing header Hellings 10! shud hav put him on, 10 for his slow trot round the pitch to have a word with fulop! Levi 10 unlucky to get crocked Maybury 10 some great defensive tackles Taggart 10 for the left hook on Clarke! Burrows 10 for his flat cap
jonw88 Posted 1 November 2007 Posted 1 November 2007 Fulop 9 n'Gotty 7 Kisnorbo 8 Mc Auley 8 stearman 7 chambers 8 newton 7 sheehan 8 kenton 5 cort 8 fryatt 6 Subs: dj 7 porter 7 maybury 5 Look at our starting line up - only ONE proper midfielder in there and that was Newton. Then he came off for porter, and then he went off for maybury, so we had ZERO midfielders on the pitch. Kenton is better in midfield than he is in defence thank god, but he is such a lazy sod, just stopped running to chase Lampard some of the time. Where's all our midfield gone! If only Clem wasn't injured, he would have commanded us forward even more and put in the work ethic that the rest of the team showed. Chambers was awesome, so was Fulop (get him in permanently!) and Cort looked a different player. Some inspired substitutions to put levi and dj on, shame about the injury. But we need more midfielders!! Where was Wezzer? Injured I presume. But having lost Kishishev, we need another decent central midfielder. Any what about Ferreira/Kaebi/Hayes etc., when are we gonna see them play? We need someone to provide some much needed width! But overall, so so proud of the lads, LEICESTER TILL I DIE!
Fez of Mahrez Posted 1 November 2007 Posted 1 November 2007 It's difficult to make any criticisms after that but Kishishev, Kenton...?
