The People's Hero Posted 1 November 2007 Posted 1 November 2007 On the first day of Christmas my true love gave to meAn Ian Ormondroyd Looking back, that tube full of Chelsea fans seemed to take it all in good spirit. The Leicester fans who just sat there though, ought to be ashamed of themselves.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 1 November 2007 Posted 1 November 2007 I haven't laughed so much in ages. Absolutely hilarious on the tube afterwards. Me, Alex and TPH did all the Cheryl Cole songs. Everyone was laughing even though they were all Chelsea fans or commuters. There was one woman who was looking at us like we were dog filth to start with but by the end of the fourth Cheryl Cole song she was in tears with laughter. Oh yeah, have just remembered Alex trying to convince the Chelsea fans that Tease Me by Chaka Demus and Pliers was written about Leicester's tube system.
Manwell Pablo Posted 1 November 2007 Posted 1 November 2007 Currently thinking how to word my letter of resignation. Can't believe I missed this!!!!

Wish I could have joined you on the way back. Sounds good. Roughly how many Cole songs did you belt out?
Fez of Mahrez Posted 1 November 2007 Posted 1 November 2007 Yeah, a bit different to the way there where we were clearly the least popular people on the train.Wish I could have joined you on the way back. Sounds good. Roughly how many Cole songs did you belt out? Four. The four in my first post in the Girls Aloud thread. I started singing the De Vries one, then Alex heroically took up the baton and we went straight into the Hume one. Then Clemence then Collins John. Also sang my KGB song about Abramovich. My favourite was TPH's "4-3! Even Carl Cort scored! Barnsley! Carl Cort didn't score!" lol
The People's Hero Posted 1 November 2007 Posted 1 November 2007 I'd forgotten about ALL of that. Immense.
The People's Hero Posted 1 November 2007 Posted 1 November 2007 I've just realised. I spent the day singing about Iwan Roberts, Ian Ormondroyd and Ricky Sappleton. None of these were in the squad. Chelsea fans really must have wondered what was going on.

Fez of Mahrez Posted 1 November 2007 Posted 1 November 2007 And Ian MarshallDont forget the Marsh And Gary Coatsworth
The People's Hero Posted 1 November 2007 Posted 1 November 2007 Frank Sinclair too. In our efforts to get the Chelsea lot involved!
Monk Posted 1 November 2007 Author Posted 1 November 2007 What? The 2 Chelsea fans in our carriage and the other adoring members of the public?
Fez of Mahrez Posted 1 November 2007 Posted 1 November 2007 What? The 2 Chelsea fans in our carriage and the other adoring members of the public? On the way back when we changed at Earls Court there was a Super Frankie Lampard chant went up from a bunch of Chelsea fans which we drowned out by singing Super Frankie Sinclair. TPH and Kokopops were a bit more inebriated than myself having been able to drink on the train down so they won't have noticed the looks of sheer bemusement on some of the Chelsea fans' faces, particularly the younger ones. I actually enjoyed the tube trip afterwards even more than the game, and that's saying something.

Sounds like a great night out...welld one all!!
Fez of Mahrez Posted 1 November 2007 Posted 1 November 2007 So it was all good humoured fun with the Chelsea Boys?No signs of the 'olde' Chelsea??? Sounds like a great night out...welld one all!! No trouble whatsoever. Even when we left the ground we seemed to be surrounded by Chelsea on the way to the tube station and they were largely just chuckling at our songs. "We're shit, we nearly beat you and we're shit..." "You should be ashamed of yourselves"
Raj Posted 1 November 2007 Posted 1 November 2007 Im jealous! But glad you all had a great night and the team did us proud.
Simi Posted 1 November 2007 Posted 1 November 2007 Also sang my KGB song about Abramovich. Played Fez. We got that going and 'Hollow Hollow Hollow'. Nobody new it, but oh well.
BigGibbo Posted 1 November 2007 Posted 1 November 2007 Wish i ended up on your tube by the time we got on it was all Chelsea & i was too f@cked from dragging my fat ass around london at top speed all day to try & get some Leicester chorus going
Alexikokopops Posted 2 November 2007 Posted 2 November 2007 Oh yeah, have just remembered Alex trying to convince the Chelsea fans that Tease Me by Chaka Demus and Pliers was written about Leicester's tube system. They don't know a thing down in London Village.
The People's Hero Posted 2 November 2007 Posted 2 November 2007 They don't know a thing down in London Village. I hadn't even seen that one. That's an absolute classic!
Manwell Pablo Posted 2 November 2007 Posted 2 November 2007 I hadn't even seen that one. That's an absolute classic! Are you dreaming of me. I think you are.
The People's Hero Posted 2 November 2007 Posted 2 November 2007 Are you dreaming of me.I think you are. I am. I'm holding the spare ticket you should have had and concentrating hard on yourself. You didn't materialise before me though.
Alexikokopops Posted 2 November 2007 Posted 2 November 2007 I hadn't even seen that one. That's an absolute classic! I believe that's just prior to the police visit for "Dennis Wise, I hope he dies"
