Super Arj Posted 11 November 2007 Posted 11 November 2007     what kind of crappy performance was that.... to be honest, i dont think it is the managers who are to blaim, its the twats who he tells to score. lets face it, weve had on off performances under all three managers this season. NEW players are a must in January
The Reverend Posted 11 November 2007 Posted 11 November 2007 It is just gone midnight. My lovely wife has welcomed me home five hours late with a smile, a kiss and a stew. Tears have been streaming down my face for 15 minutes. My wife understands yet in another way she doesn't. I tell her she doesn't understand. She takes me in her arms. I'm feeling guilty. It's a sodding football match for pity's sake. But my wife does understand. She's a champion. Always has been. She knows EXACTLY how I feel. Deflated, ashamed, disenchanted. "Don't go again," she says, but she knows it's hopeless. I love my club. Not any players, not any chairman, not any administrator, just my club. And I despair at what my club's become. The lack of love, the lack of energy, the lack of anyone really caring I asked Ultra. Should I apply for he job? He was kind and sidestepped the issue seeing how pissed I was and knowing what an irrelevance I am. But the pain, the despair wouldn't abate. Leicester City played 4-5-1 at home for God's sake. It was like being raped in public. People I thought cared about Leicester City insulted us. I hope they have the courage to fook off from football tomorrow morning. I hope they are never seen again. Gerry Taggart - ex-Leicester City. I used to celebrate the name. But that was a sodding disgrace. Indefensible. Go home to Ireland and take Burrows with you. No team of mine could ever play that badly, could ever insult the name of Leicester City so readily nor could ever make a mockery of the word football with such emphasis. You were a good footballer Gerry. 100% despite your limitations. I loved you. Unlike Burrows I counted you as Leicester City. As family. But today you dragged my club through mud. I will never, ever, forgive you for that. Or that arsehole who stood by your side. Sod off. Get a job at Woolworths. I really don't care. It wasn't losing that mattered. It was the way we lost. We put two fingers up to ourselves, our traditions, at the word football and at our fans. I could never get your job. But I could never, ever preside over that sort of shit.

Thracian Posted 11 November 2007 Posted 11 November 2007 Mandaric says he'll be bringing two or three more players in.But surely that should be a decision for the new manager to make. The new manager will get what he's given and like it. Assuming anyone wants to be our new manager of course. Have you been approached yet?
James. Posted 11 November 2007 Posted 11 November 2007 Mandaric says he'll be bringing two or three more players in.But surely that should be a decision for the new manager to make. MORE players? F**king hell. Are stockpiling or something? What a farce.
Nath Posted 11 November 2007 Posted 11 November 2007 2 more player's? And them player's will still not be midfielder's
Fez of Mahrez Posted 11 November 2007 Posted 11 November 2007 MORE players?F**king hell. Are stockpiling or something? What a farce. It's what he's used to. At Portsmouth they went through hundreds. Maybe this time he'll sign some that managers will want to play.
James. Posted 11 November 2007 Posted 11 November 2007 It's what he's used to. At Portsmouth they went through hundreds. Maybe this time he'll sign some that managers will want to play. Managers. Plural. Yes, indeed.

I dont think you can blame Taggart, he probably doesn't have any say on who starts, or the formation or tactics, its Burrows who makes the decisions, he who must go.
Ultra Posted 11 November 2007 Posted 11 November 2007 They're both culpable. You can't exonerate Taggart from what happened yesterday. The tactics were woeful. We need a clean break from the Megson era. And if that means handing Taggart a P45, so be it..

NewquayFox Posted 11 November 2007 Posted 11 November 2007 All very very depressing, just cant believe what is going on at City, usually try to get up for a few games a season but this year especially just cant be arsed.Really need someone to batter the lot of em into showing some pride in wearing the City shirt. ;0(
Raj Posted 12 November 2007 Posted 12 November 2007 Ive almost recovered mentally from Saturdays 'performance' It was a disgrace! Remember a few weeks ago everyone was saying magical things about the players for the display against Chelsea??? FCUK THAT! This is the REAL Leicester City FC for you. We are no better now than we wer 3-4 years ago, except we have even MORE shit players to pay. Something is not right at LCFC. And im getting more and more fcuked off with it. I couldnt even be bothered ro BOO the fcukers on Saturday. I took my 21 year old nephew (For his first LCFC game!) and he just laughed "You have to watch this shite ever time Unc.....You cvnt!" YEs...i think i am a cvnt...Why do i bother sometimes,i dont know?????
Raj Posted 12 November 2007 Posted 12 November 2007 Also....was it just me or was the atmosphere even worse than normal??? I wasn't in my usual seat in L1 (hence i was unable to keep an eye on Gibbo, hope he behaved himself!!!) but even L1 seemed subdued. Even Jobber didnt get going beating his instrument and the Kop was quiet too. Perhaps we knew what was instore.
BigGibbo Posted 12 November 2007 Posted 12 November 2007 Also....was it just me or was the atmosphere even worse than normal???I wasn't in my usual seat in L1 (hence i was unable to keep an eye on Gibbo, hope he behaved himself!!!) but even L1 seemed subdued. Even Jobber didnt get going beating his instrument and the Kop was quiet too. Perhaps we knew what was instore. I couldn't make it again apparently luckily so.
Wils Posted 12 November 2007 Posted 12 November 2007 Eeeek. Im glad i didnt waste my time coming up for this then.
davieG Posted 12 November 2007 Posted 12 November 2007 Also....was it just me or was the atmosphere even worse than normal???I wasn't in my usual seat in L1 (hence i was unable to keep an eye on Gibbo, hope he behaved himself!!!) but even L1 seemed subdued. Even Jobber didnt get going beating his instrument and the Kop was quiet too. Perhaps we knew what was instore. I think that's what the players were doing - wankers!
lcfc_jme Posted 12 November 2007 Posted 12 November 2007 I couldnt even be bothered ro BOO the fcukers on Saturday. I was in the mighty L1 and I joined in with about three songs all game - 2 of those were before kickoff. And I didn't bother to boo at the end either. It's a waste of time, really. It's not as if the players actually give a **** what the fans think or they're listening anyway. I was more interested in what Bert, Maybes and Wilkesy's mates were saying on the row behind me. They were the most entertainment I had through the entirety of the match. I think that's what the players were doing - wankers!
Thracian Posted 12 November 2007 Posted 12 November 2007 I've just been reading a Burnley analysis of Saturday's game and their man in charge said it couldn't have gone better, and that he'd just wanted his team to relax and express themselves . Am I in the real world anymore? Yes, in his shoes I'd have been pleased with a win. But otherwise I'd have wanted to hide. Cos as a football team they were very nearly as awful to watch as we were. If that was "expressing themselves" pity for all when they have even less to offer.
bullyboy123 Posted 12 November 2007 Posted 12 November 2007 What an appauling match i about fell asleep! lets hope he brings in someone that actually knows where the goal is!
Sods Posted 12 November 2007 Posted 12 November 2007 Going back to L1, thought id give the south stand a chance this year. But theres so many tits about. So many people know absoulute bugger all, it also feels like a day nursery sometimes. So L1 you've got to put up with my voice for a bit longer. Don't suppose il get my old seat back though

If that was "expressing themselves" pity for all when they have even less to offer. what he really wanted to say was " we have no ambition other than avoiding relegation - we have no great number of fans to heap unwelcome expectations on our shoulders so it doesn't matter how crap the brand of football we dish up is and what do you expect in any case as we only sign other clubs' rejects 'cos they're cheap" Who is to say that their position is less honest than a club whose Chairman brackets his club with the best 6 or 8 in the division , pays lip service to bringing back the good times and having a clear vision for premier league in 3 years when we are scarcely more succesful or less unattractive than we were in Levien's day and certainly less attractive as a team than under adams. At a time when we should have something close to a unit able to push for a top half placing we are stuck with radical new ways of building a side consisting entirely of one-paced defenders and strikers with no flair or guile.
Scow Posted 12 November 2007 Posted 12 November 2007 What an appauling matchi about fell asleep! lets hope he brings in someone that actually knows where the goal is! There was one guy to the left of me who did nod off which was quite amusing.
