Corky Posted 4 May 2008 Posted 4 May 2008 Will Holloway's column finish now the season is over, or will we have to suffer the indignity of one last page of bullshit at the end of a terrible week?

Ultra Posted 4 May 2008 Posted 4 May 2008 He'll be laughing all the way to the bank, when his contract is paid off...
wurmer Posted 5 May 2008 Posted 5 May 2008 Can't wait to read what the village-idiot is gonna write about this week.....
shen Posted 5 May 2008 Posted 5 May 2008 His interview after the match does leave a lump in my throat though. The way his voice was trembling and the empty look in his eyes said it all. He seems a decent bloke, he lives and breathes football and he wanted this to happen as little as any of us. He knows he's blown it now, and he'll have a hard time getting his career back on track after this. Having said that, he messed up royally here, but it would have taken a miracle to save us this season anyway...
dpmd Posted 5 May 2008 Posted 5 May 2008 QPR fan in peace here: Ian Holloway has re-applied for the QPR job: Dear Sirs, I'd like to formally approach you with a view to a permanent position of your team manager. It has long been my ambition to manage a bigger club and I see QPR as just the kind of club I'm looking for. Unfortunately my current employer has indicated that I am no longer required having taken them to the 3rd tier for the first time in their history. I am currently on gardening leave, a position I frequently enjoy. My key attributes are: Making weekly statements to the press and anyone who'll listen. These usually involve inane comments and high praise for the supporters of the team I'm managing. ( my policy is usually to retract such statements upon a job move ) I am also a regular buyer of Barry Hayles and would propose that he joins your club forthwith. Every year I can guarantee a notable event in your teams history. This usually involves loosing in the FA 3rd Round - preferably to a non league outfit if at all possible. One of my prime attributes is to play players out of position in order to train them in the benefits of finding new parts of the pitch they are unfamiliar with. This also has the added benefit of keeping the supporters guessing and thinking we have a bigger squad than we actually have. You will find me totally loyal, until such time as what I consider to be a competitive club making overtures for my services. In this respect its important you realise I could leave to join Leicester at any time, once their Fatwa has been rescinded. I look forward to hearing from you. I Holloway
