Micky Ruddle Posted 8 December 2007 Posted 8 December 2007 I don't know….!! I reckon Mayweather has been shaken by the reaction he's received! I honestly thought about week ago that Mayweather would cruise this fight, but now I'm thinking Ricky is going to do it! I just want Hatton to make Mayweather look an even bigger **** !!! Yeah, he looked like he's just had a bat up his dress. Its even though to be fair. Whoever starts well will finish well i think. - If that makes sense.
Joe. Posted 8 December 2007 Posted 8 December 2007 A Hatton k.o would be superb. In an ideal scenario we see a tight game, going all the way with Hatton winning on points.
Matt Posted 8 December 2007 Author Posted 8 December 2007 Ordered it this morning. I was going to wait till I got in, From my works christmas drinks but was told it was a right arse ache to order, so didn't think it was good idea to do when I came in pissed, but ordered it this morning and all I had to do was confirm my phone number - Simple. Abit worried about how simple it was and wondering if I have actually ordered it Another thing i'm abit worried about is the link that says it starts at 2am....Most likly i'll still be out drinking at that time, and want to stay out as late a possible but might have to make sure i'm home for 2am just incase Sky Sports have been reporting and repeating themselves saying that Hatton fight is about 4am though. Was watching a build-up preview show and they even said "Hatton and Mayweather will be entering the ring shortly after 4am"
Dames Posted 9 December 2007 Posted 9 December 2007 Got my Free link sorted now i'm just waiting for the fight
Hugo Sanchez Posted 9 December 2007 Posted 9 December 2007 Got it for free Can't wait. De La Hoya will be wanted a Hatton win. So he can stage his comeback. Come on Hatton !!!
Wycombe Fox Posted 9 December 2007 Posted 9 December 2007 Hatton or Mayweather FFS one of you punch the ****ing ref! I think he's forgotten who the crowd want to see - let them just get on with it!
Wycombe Fox Posted 9 December 2007 Posted 9 December 2007 The boxer's starting to take the fighter apart Come on Ricky!!
Wycombe Fox Posted 9 December 2007 Posted 9 December 2007 This ref's worse than some of the tossers we've had this season. By the way, where is everyone? I'm reet lonely!
Craig Posted 9 December 2007 Posted 9 December 2007 Not looking good after round 8  Brave effort by Ricky, was always going to be tough. Bed time now me thinks.
Wycombe Fox Posted 9 December 2007 Posted 9 December 2007 As if it wasn't bad enough that the ref was against Ricky Hatton, so was the ****ing corner post! Great heart Mr. Hatton but sadly it wasn't enough. Goodnight.
Dames Posted 9 December 2007 Posted 9 December 2007 What a disappointing fight. All the hype and besides a few classy punches from Mayweather it was nothing but a hugfest.
Hugo Sanchez Posted 9 December 2007 Posted 9 December 2007 DID ENGLAND PROUD RICKY. Crap ref and the game plan didn't work but unlucky. Love his post match comment ... What a fluke !!! lmao Legend and still got his sence of humour.
Wezleylowski Posted 9 December 2007 Posted 9 December 2007 Mayweather has such a heartless boxing style. Ricky is all heart, thats why he lost and also why we love him. Mayweather had a gameplan and stuck to it well, but watching him is like watching a Gary Megson side Hatton was outclassed by a better boxer quicker and sneakier. Shame it wasnt a street fight, I would have liked to see Hatton beat 7 bells out of Floyd "money" Mayweather. Fair play to Money at the end though when he huged Ricky, perhaps at heart he isnt the showman he thinks he is or acts like.
Head Honcho Posted 9 December 2007 Posted 9 December 2007 Glad I didn't bother staying up now but unlucky Ricky maybe next time!
Matt Posted 9 December 2007 Author Posted 9 December 2007 Well not bad, Hatton gave it his all, the ref was clearly bias (In all honesty Mayweather was the better boxer and didn't need any help of the ref but regardless...), BUT lets not blame the ref Hatton got knocked down, end of. I'm very tired, but think my plan is to try and stay up as long as possible through the day then just get a good sleep tonight. Anyone for a rematch?! And I hate to say it but in all the interviews after the fight Mayweather seems an ok bloke, Glad he went straight over to Hatton to see he was alright, Mayweather just wanted to be the bad boy and create a wind-up before the fight I think, He gave Hatton all his credit which was nice.
Ajax Treesdown Posted 9 December 2007 Posted 9 December 2007 Mayweather is a sound bloke and a excellent boxer.

I was only joking about a rematch, would be good but think it'd be the same outcome. Sadly.
Micky Ruddle Posted 9 December 2007 Posted 9 December 2007 Father put radio on full blast this morning at 5am. I woke up Then thought My dad says: He's got annihilated. He finished him off in the tenth round Me: Who Who? Ricky? Floyd? Dad: Who do you think? Me: Am gutted, really am gutted.
Simi Posted 9 December 2007 Posted 9 December 2007 The longer Mayweather frustrated Hatton with his constant dodging tactics, the closer the fight was to ending. Mayweather used simple tactics and just picked Hatton off in the 8th round and it was all over from that point in.
