Wow that was a very great advertisement for the Premier League...

I love this country and i love our football ( sometimes)

But the simple fact of the matter is spain and Italy is where it is all at...

Look at goals per game.... they have so many exciting games out there!!

Well at least we have andy gray and his time machine.... eh!!

top four games are always boring but yesterday there was a 5 - 3 with everything in a football match, aswell as a 4 - 2

Premiership is becoming boring, dull and predictable though

Nice to see Eboue sort out that scummy little cheating bastard Terry who thinks he can get away with everything.

A quality player but a **** at the highest order. Not that I like Eboue either, but John Terry is a willy puller who thinks he's above the law.

Both games threatened to get going but never really did. I actually enjoyed both matches still though. :dunno:

As Andy Gray admitted, winning is everything in the clashes between the big four. There are plenty of other games for the more expansive football to be played.

It's slightly depressing though, to see the title race degenerate into a two-horse race before Christmas.. :(

Thought the last 15 minutes of Liverpool-Man united was good, lots of urgency from Liverpool and a kind of Cup final atmosphere but in all, these games always seem to bring out the dullist yet tactically astute play.

Bit like the Man united - Chelseas cup final, so much promise yet they just cancelled each other out on the day.

All of the big four fear losing to their rivals more than they desire beating them, thats why these games are often boring to watch.

Thought both games were as dull as dish water.

Agreed whenever the top teams play each other it is always boring

Breaking news on skysports news - says that Terry will be out for up to 6 weeks as he has broken 3 bones in his foot!

I think Chelsea are still in it, don't think Liverpool will challenge though...

Thought the Liverpool Man U game was fairly dire but Arsenal Vs Chelsea was pretty tasty, especially second half!

I read in one of Sunday's newspapers that over the last 4 seasons, 3 of the teams who win the 'mini league' of top four teams wins the premiership.

Well so far it's:

----------------------- P W D L GF GA PTS

Manchester United 3 2 1 0 5 2 7

------------ Arsenal 3 1 2 0 4 3 5

------------ Liverpool 3 0 2 1 2 2 2l

--------------Chelsea 3 0 1 2 1 4 1

Scorers:

Ronaldo 1 V Arsenal

Rooney 1 V Arsenal

Tevez 2 V Chelsea and Liverpool

Saha 1 V Chelsea

Gallas 2 V Chelsea and Man U

Fabregas 2 V Liverpool and Man U

Lampard 1 V Liverpool

Torres 1 V Chelsea

Gerrard 1 V Arsenal

It's amazing how only the 'big players', not really Saha, score in the 'big' games.
