Ah well. We would have to pay over inflated prices anyway.

Dunno. They have some good players, but MM has told him to sit in the naughty corner and move on. Bless Holloway, not the brighest spark in the box but at least we can look forward to speculation of really good quality signings

What are you lot on about... where the hell do you get anything about Milan telling Holloway no he can't buy them? And why on earth would he be "on the naughty step".

The article seems quite clear that Milan spoke to their Chairman about players, and when he informed Holloway of what was said, Ollie wasn't happy about it and has decided not to go back there for any of them!!

No he hasn't.

Lets clear this up shall we....

Sturock: "the club has rejected "verbal bids" from Leicester for David Norris and Barry Hayles."

Holloway on speculation: ""People can speculate - and they will do that. But I am not going to comment on it,"

Wrong. Holloway did a BBC interview in the last 2 weeks (its online somewhere) where he states that he is going to raid Plymouth for players. Its my take on situation that he has been told to shut his big mouth and get on with the job

Go to this page

http://search.bbc.co.uk/cgi-bin/search/res...y&scope=all and click on "Holloway reassures Leicester fans". He is of low intelligence and doesn't stop to think about waht he is saying and has now been told in no un-certain terms to STFU

From what Ollie has been saying in the press since the Hull game, he needs to get a bit of a team morale going about the place. It makes sense that he'd want to bring in a couple of players who he knows inside out and who he could use as a starting point to build up some team spirit around the place.

If in January we go and sign 3 or 4 more new players who Ollie hasn't managed before then you could say that we're just compounding the problem.

I guess it's the sign of a truly great manager when they can arrive at a struggling club with no team spirit, no morale, a bunch of players who are so emotionally fragile they throw in the towel at 1-0, and forge a strong, competitive, successful team out of them.

Fingers crossed Ollie can do the job :scarf: COME ON YOU FOXES!!!

Thankyou, i'm amazed he said that. It seemed to me like it was said on purpose to wind up the Chairman down at Plymouth. I still think the interpretation of the teamtalk article is wrong, there is nothing in it that suggests in anyway he has been told to shut up.

You might be right, I am putting 2+2 together. MM is known not to suffer fool's gladly is he? I think that video clip shows the un-professional side of our manager. That said its going to more fun speculating on who he intends to bring in.

It was very unprofessional, I think the amount of abuse he'd been getting from Plymouth fans must have got to him. I'd love to know what their chairman said to get him so riled up!!

Its important to realise that Holloway is not a miracle worker and will need quite a bit of time to gel the new signings into the team and then work out his best team. (always plays 4-4-2) so we know which areas he will look to buy. Midfield is the obvious starting place, but with his reputation I can see a further 2/3 strikers joining as well.

No idea. But it gives us a small in-sight as to why the Plymouth fans are still upset? How can they move on when he is spouting this type of nonsense? I am annoyed about it because it sounded like spite and spite won't get us out of this position, a cool calm head with astute signings is what is needed.

Personally think its because the Plymouth fans turned on him for leaving and Ollie is used to being loved, might be strange to him? Who knows just guessing but at least with today's news we can all move on a bit more. (relief emoticon)

babs you stick to reading newspapers and second guessing and i will stick to what i know,i could put alot more about holloway up here but i doubt simpletons like yourself will see past "ollie"

when he came to us i spoke to him for about 30 minutes after the first 10 i thought legend we are going to push for the play offs for sure then the amount he talked about plymouth and certain players he seemed to be someone losing the plot now he is giving up on them,it seems mm has told holloway he wont be paying over the odds and holloway has said fair enough but i doubt he will be happy about it
