blue blood Posted 18 December 2007 Posted 18 December 2007 yeh and that is why the plymouth fans hate him so much, after saying so much about the club saying that this was his vehicle to get into the premiership, and then be pulled away by a bloke waving ££££ in front of his eyes, it wouldnt have been so bad if he just said no comment to the speculation before he joined you but no, he had to make up another load of lies and con the fans,players and club into believing him. It just shows how fickle and unloyal he is. But he will not let it lie and has constantly brought plymouth up again and again, trying to unsettle us with offering money to our players, he should learn to keep his mouth shut because hes getting himself into more deeper Sh1t and making our board not want to deal with him. Also now that leicester is struggling he is starting to lose it, at plymouth he didnt have pressure on him as are expectations were to gradually climb up the table, but now hes gone to leicester its more pressure, from the looks at it in his recent interviews he is looking like he regrets leaving plymouth, Have you never thought maybe some people want to better themselves in life? people that are driven like to challange themselves, push themselves and fulfill their goals? I try and do a darn fine job at work, i like to learn at work and even make the odd mistake, because i know i am pushing myself. If the chance came up for a promotion to work in a tougher role where i can learn more and push myself even harder, would i would reject it? thought not! Now can you kindly leave us alone as when you think about the past u are not thinking about the present and are wasting your future. Peace!

Joe. Posted 18 December 2007 Posted 18 December 2007 I am a big fan of hearing the fact it's a "shop window" for Maybury and Newton. Good decision by Holloway, these two are very much part of the deadwood we need to be clearing out. Let's just hope somebody will take them off our hands for us...

It shouldn't be about who the player plays for, it's about whether they will fit into our team. If by any chance a certain player was at Plymouth and would fit into our team, Ollie should make every effort to sign him regardless of the past.

BUT he is employed by LCFC to do the BEST for LCFC. we are not in a position to worry about the feelings of Plymouth or anyone else for that matter. If he feels players at Plymouth will do a good job here,then he should leave it in the hands of his chairman or Timmy D and get the players. We need all the help we can at the moment.

I doubt very much that it has to do with nobleness, more like he's either been told the door is shut unless the bid is well over-the-odds [which MM would buy into] or his ego has been bruised by the response to his rantings and he's trying to restore some belief in Plymouth fans. I suspect a bit of both but weighted in favour of the latter, if only because he believed that his adoring fans would blame the Plymouth board for his departure. Clearly the westcountry tractor-drivers are not so dumb!

We need all the help we can at the moment. completley agree with that but I think he has made the right choice in backing off as Plymouth are clearly over valuing players. Norris is a good player, but no where near the figures that are being mentioned.

Then I realised that Plymouth is in the west, and that everyone is a tractor drivers.

That is what he was told yesterday. Not surprising really - Norris was taken to Plymouth 5 years ago by Sturrock
