davieG Posted 22 December 2007 Posted 22 December 2007 I've done two polls one for those that went and one for those that watched on TV so do us a BIG favour make sure you pick the correct one and dont fook it up!!!! This is for the MOLINEUX DIEHARDS
Simi Posted 22 December 2007 Posted 22 December 2007 My vote is a very close one between N Gotty and Clemence. N Gotty was forced to play in a position I doubt he wanted to but he actually worked very hard there and put in a good effort. Could of been a little closer to his man at times, but he stopped a lot of Wolves attacks. Clemence, who's taken a lot of stick lately put in a brave performance today and often put in good challenges to win the ball. I think I'll go for N Gotty though. Special mention to Stearman as well.

That was quick.

N'Gotty or Clemence? You must be joking, surely....
davieG Posted 22 December 2007 Author Posted 22 December 2007 Reflects the differnce between being there and TV which is one of the reasons I did two polls
Simi Posted 22 December 2007 Posted 22 December 2007 N'Gotty or Clemence? You must be joking, surely.... Erm, well I'm not. I guess what the TV cameras cover is a little different to the human eye at the match.
Leicester Lass Posted 22 December 2007 Posted 22 December 2007 I went for N'Gotty as well, although surprisingly Stearman was a close second
Brainy Posted 22 December 2007 Posted 22 December 2007 Sorry to post in here considering im not a "Molineux diehard", but I agree with Ched. Clemence didn't do much wrong either, most probably because I rarely saw him tonight...

Mikey Posted 22 December 2007 Posted 22 December 2007 I voted for Hume, he did well I thought, won it, passed it and worked hard. Also scored a superb free kick. He was closely followed by N'Gotty, Chambers, Clemence and Stearz.
Daz.I Posted 22 December 2007 Posted 22 December 2007 I went against everyone and chose Mcauley , he was a rock today won everything.
Flynny Posted 22 December 2007 Posted 22 December 2007 Stearman. I can say that for certain in the first half 'cos he was right in front of us, and he looked just as good in the second from a distance. He could not have played better. Honourable mention for N'Gotty though. His passing wasn't the best but it wasn't bad, was always effective and often offensive, which is better than I'd expect for a centre-back. INTELLIGENT.
Mr. Tambourine Man Posted 23 December 2007 Posted 23 December 2007 N'Gotty did very well out of position. Got outpaced a couple of times, but you can tell he's class. Shame he's not 3 or 4 years younger
Staf Posted 23 December 2007 Posted 23 December 2007 Stearman gets my vote best game i have seen him play for ages
Floating Fox Posted 23 December 2007 Posted 23 December 2007 I'll go with Stearman, was solid on the right and looked a good combo with Chambers just infront, if a little rustay at times! N'Gottys role was good thinking from Ollie as he basically followed Olfingananana around like a lost puppy, but he did it well. Hume had a good game but was just lacking that quality. Still top effort from the lad.

Mikey Posted 23 December 2007 Posted 23 December 2007 Get the video of 12 days of Ormondroyd up. Yeah. Do it. Now.
Floating Fox Posted 23 December 2007 Posted 23 December 2007 Yeah. Do it. Now. Done. Well done to Mikey for joining in
lildave3 Posted 23 December 2007 Posted 23 December 2007 Hmmm. I've gone for Hume, although N'Gotty and Stearman weren't far off.
Chairman of the Bored Posted 23 December 2007 Posted 23 December 2007 Stearman. Had a solid game. The 2 Old Bill who threw out 2 City fans for singing get my vote as pricks of the match. I know we've come to expect West Mids Polis to be tossers, but honestly, it took 5 of them to "escort". Brave lads, eh?

Flynny Posted 24 December 2007 Posted 24 December 2007 You must have been sat 2-3 rows below me and just to my left if you took that and I didn't spot you.
