MC Prussian Posted 27 December 2007 Posted 27 December 2007 Alright, it's already early morning again, but still I wonder what makes you guys stay up that late. Ken - I know your profession. LWICD - Oh Canada... Me? I woke up at 3.30am with a bloody stomachache and couldn't get back to sleep ever since. Getting ready to go to work soon. That'll be a bloody hilarious day at the office...
lookwhaticando Posted 27 December 2007 Posted 27 December 2007 It's now 23:21 local time. I'm still awake, and not planning on retiring any time soon. Perhaps in an hour's time. Why? Because. Errr... that's about it.
lildave3 Posted 27 December 2007 Posted 27 December 2007 Same. And insomnia. Isn't a teacher being nocturnal slightly worrying? You are still a teacher aren't you?
AoWW Posted 27 December 2007 Posted 27 December 2007 Isn't a teacher being nocturnal slightly worrying? You are still a teacher aren't you? Yes, I am. I'm allowed to be even more nocturnal than normal in the holidays though. Generally, i just get by on remarkably little sleep,
lildave3 Posted 27 December 2007 Posted 27 December 2007 Yes, I am. I'm allowed to be even more nocturnal than normal in the holidays though. Generally, i just get by on remarkably little sleep, Crazy. At least I get to sleep in the day.
lookwhaticando Posted 27 December 2007 Posted 27 December 2007 You know what they say about women who don't get much sleep...
AoWW Posted 27 December 2007 Posted 27 December 2007 You know what they say about women who don't get much sleep... no, enlighten me.
lookwhaticando Posted 27 December 2007 Posted 27 December 2007 They wake up in the middle of the wrong joke. And they're missing a pillow, 'n all.
Asha Posted 27 December 2007 Posted 27 December 2007 There's so much to do in a day, what's the point of staying in bed for 5 odd hours
Simi Posted 27 December 2007 Posted 27 December 2007 I go to bed when I'm tired, never really a set time.
Finnegan Posted 27 December 2007 Posted 27 December 2007 4am is my usual nodding off time. Finnegan's the REAL Nightguard.
Rincewind Posted 27 December 2007 Posted 27 December 2007 Today it was at 5am up at 12 midday. Day off tomorrow so will try to get up earlier as I will have to retire at 10-11pm in order to get up at 4am for my weekend dayshifts. Very strange having to that every fort night and takes some getting used to. Even on my days off I dont go bed until after 2 or 3 and get up after 10.
cisono Posted 27 December 2007 Posted 27 December 2007 There's so much to do in a day, what's the point of staying in bed for 5 odd hours Totally agree. However, if you ever reach the point when you fall asleep while sitting at your PC, I'd say going to bed would not be such a bad option...
Guest Posted 27 December 2007 Posted 27 December 2007 Work makes me stay up at night. The inconsiderate b**tards keep making me do my job when they know I should be sleeping
Tevez Posted 28 December 2007 Posted 28 December 2007 I be nocturnal. Playing Candystand pool at 5am. Summer 2007.
lildave3 Posted 28 December 2007 Posted 28 December 2007 Playing Candystand pool at 5am. Summer 2007. Good times
lildave3 Posted 28 December 2007 Posted 28 December 2007 Reversi. Even better times. Mainly because I used to win that.
lildave3 Posted 13 January 2008 Posted 13 January 2008 When does a night owl become a night owl? I feel not yet.
AoWW Posted 13 January 2008 Posted 13 January 2008 When does a night owl become a night owl? I feel not yet. When you've run out of time to go to bed.
lildave3 Posted 13 January 2008 Posted 13 January 2008 When you've run out of time to go to bed. But on a weekend, do you ever really run out of time to go to bed?
