lildave3 Posted 31 December 2007 Posted 31 December 2007 I think we could probably get away with playing N'Gotty alongside McAuley until the end of the season, with a bit of luck on the injury front, and in the meantime send the scouts to go and find a replacement ready to purchase in the summer. Not enough pace in that back 2 for my linking.

lildave3 Posted 31 December 2007 Posted 31 December 2007 who says Stearman couldn't transform his current form to CB with Chambers then at RB, Micah Richards is hardly massive yet no-one seems to think he's too small I suppose he could possibly do that. Although I think it's a question of whether he's strong enough, not that he's not tall enough.
Jimmy Posted 31 December 2007 Posted 31 December 2007 I suppose he could possibly do that. Although I think it's a question of whether he's strong enough, not that he's not tall enough. my point was the same, Stearman has a similar build to Richards
Fez of Mahrez Posted 31 December 2007 Posted 31 December 2007 my point was the same, Stearman has a similar build to Richards :crylaugh: :crylaugh: :crylaugh:
Dames Posted 31 December 2007 Posted 31 December 2007 my point was the same, Stearman has a similar build to Richards lol Stearman is white lanky and skinny. Richards is black not as tall and quite stocky. I fail to see your comparison?
lildave3 Posted 31 December 2007 Posted 31 December 2007 my point was the same, Stearman has a similar build to Richards You blew it.
Simi Posted 31 December 2007 Posted 31 December 2007 If Henderson pulls out anything similar to what he did in the first leg at Forest then our match against QPR is not going to be pretty at all. Constant flapping and a general lack of awareness. Not to mention his awful kicking. The only thing he has going for him is that he's a good shot stopper.

Flynny Posted 31 December 2007 Posted 31 December 2007 Henderson's kicking has improved gradually since he joined us, and Fulop's isn't the best (not bad, but not fantastic) either, so I don't think thats an issue. I'm hoping that working with Fulop might have helped Henderson somewhat. We've got a good Goalkeeping Coach and a good first choice keeper for him to work with, so, optimistically, he might have learnt something. Again, like I said, he's really not bad at all for a 2nd choice keeper.
Flynny Posted 31 December 2007 Posted 31 December 2007 who says Stearman couldn't transform his current form to CB with Chambers then at RB, Micah Richards is hardly massive yet no-one seems to think he's too small Stearman's current form has been all about getting forward from full-back. If he started doing that from CB I'd be worried.
Tevez Posted 31 December 2007 Posted 31 December 2007 Wouldn't mind seeing Sappleton in goal tommorow.
Super Arj Posted 31 December 2007 Posted 31 December 2007 1 mil isnt to sunderlands valuation of Fulop looks like Hendo will have to do us proud
Joe. Posted 31 December 2007 Posted 31 December 2007 Oh bloody hell. Henderson's a total liability. We'll lose tomorrow if he's in goal. His kicking is terrible and his decision making when dealing with crosses is also very poor. His positioning is also very suspect at times. You just don't know what he's going to do next, make a great save or make a complete hash of it. He's a liability to us and we need to finda replacement fast (hopefully Fulop).
Mr Happy Posted 31 December 2007 Posted 31 December 2007 To be fair to Hendo he has couple of bloody brilliant games for us last season and if hes in goal for us tomorrow i reckon he'll want to show us he can still cut it. Hopefully.

Jay Posted 31 December 2007 Posted 31 December 2007 Is that man on your sig real or computer made you mean that boxer? I thought that 2 so had to google him and it's real!! check out this youtubevideo or this one the smaller one won as well!!
The Stig Posted 31 December 2007 Posted 31 December 2007 well there goes all hope of a result at QPR at best Henderson is a liability!!he can't control his area he can't catch the ball he doesn't communicate he doesn't provide confidence for the defenders watch him have a Man of the Match performance tomorrow!! He's certainly not that bad. He has his good days and bad days. His box control isn't quite good, but I certainly don't think he is a liability.
