It says in the Merc that Hendo will be in goal tomorrow.

well there goes all hope of a result at QPR at best Henderson is a liability!!

he can't control his area

he can't catch the ball

he doesn't communicate

he doesn't provide confidence for the defenders

watch him have a Man of the Match performance tomorrow!!

it's SEVENTEEN pages long, also it has a tag saying not just yet, so I can understand him not wanting to read through all of that

exactly and I can't see any official confirmation anywhere at the minute so jumping on this posters back is a bit out of order imo I haven't seen a FULOP GOES BACK TO SUNDERLAND story on the os yet, although they would be the last to tell us anything

no its not I have read many stories where is says Keane is only CONSIDERING recalling him then there is the fact we have made a bid for him, the whole issue is unclear however I am assuming the worse, and personally given the choice of our contracted keepers I'd of recalled Logan and added Henderson to the list of people allowed to leave as he's simply not good enough, if you can't get into the Bradford team in league 1 how the hell is he in ours, at least Logan is young and can still get better

Doesn't seem anyone has noticed but at the end of the Merc's article Sunderland have rejected our £1m bid for Fulop so Hendo could be in goal for a few weeks yet.

we should up the bid and throw in a player

That maybe so but there was also a 500 page thread in the summer about signing Izale McLeod and from what i remember there were very few actual facts in there!

Im sure someone said Fulop had gone back when the thread started and he's played for us twice since then so that wasnt true?

Forgive my ignorance but I was also under the impression that he would still be with us today. That really is bastardised of Sunderland to take him without proper negotiation!

Henderson played in goal in the same fixture last year and I just remember sat behind the goal thinking 'Gordon Bennett what a liability!'. He is not a bad shot stopper but the understanding between him and the defence is likely to be non existant. And who said we would be scoring for fun earlier in the thread? Bollocks to that. If QPR can put away 4 at Watford we have got to shut up shop big time tomorrow.

Maybe not but it's the lesser of 2 evils IMO

Nice theory but I don't think any of our players would cut it at Premier league level and I think Keane would realise it straight away.

if he wants someone like Kisnorbo, who has had premiership interest then offer him a straight swap

Then we'd have to sign a new centre back, and replacing Kisnorbo wouldn't be easy, and certainly not cheap.

Kisnorbo is a distinctly average player who has been at the heart of our defence for 2 and a half years and in that time our defence has been shit, besides good keepers are much harder to find then CB's

I think we could probably get away with playing N'Gotty alongside McAuley until the end of the season, with a bit of luck on the injury front, and in the meantime send the scouts to go and find a replacement ready to purchase in the summer.
