The People's Hero Posted 2 January 2008 Posted 2 January 2008 I think they lost to Cardiff. From what I can gather via media forums etc, it seems to me they're pretty happy they got a fee for him. We'll see how happy they are after half their squad has been sold off, then they might actually appericate what Holloway has been telling them and why he left. What they need is a new sodding kit. Green? Fu ck off.
The Reverend Posted 2 January 2008 Posted 2 January 2008 Sorry I'd totally forgoten how good 2.1 million pound man DJ "12 goals from 3 games last season" Campbells goal scoreing record for us is. What a buy. Sorry for over use of sarcasem but I'm fed up with this. Christ this pessimism is unbelievable!

The People's Hero Posted 2 January 2008 Posted 2 January 2008 He should go to the hair clinic near Zizzi's. He should go and see 'clinic' Al, he used to coach Matty Fryatt to finish, but was replaced when Milan pitched up by 'comic' Al. 'clinic' Al works part time at that very hair clinic whilst 'comic' Al works part time in Jongleurs. Christ this pessimism is unbelievable! Oh Jesus. I thought it couldn't get any worse and Chris fu cking Kamara has turned up.

Oh God Jeff, i dont know whats happening!

MikeyT Posted 2 January 2008 Posted 2 January 2008 HendersonStearman McAuley Kisnobo Hume Fryatt All of them have been here for 2-3 years,a time where we have struggled to keep our heads above the bottom 3, and yet plenty of people still champion them as good players To me it is obvious they are just crap worse than the Pleat era mugs and for the club to move forward they need to be shipped out ASAP, because not one of them deserves to put the Fox on his chest. Agree with you on Stearman, Henderson and Fryatt but the other 3 need to stay IMO. And apart from playing the long ball alot from defence what has Kisnorbo really done wrong? Scores his fair share of goals as well!
The Reverend Posted 2 January 2008 Posted 2 January 2008 This thread has descended into farce. Well thats a welcome change

Alexikokopops Posted 2 January 2008 Posted 2 January 2008 Unbeiliveable! And so the cycle is complete.
Manwell Pablo Posted 2 January 2008 Posted 2 January 2008 Christ this pessimism is unbelievable! I've had nearly four seasons of this shit I have had enough, especially when all the barracking is aimed at a 21 year old striker who has played very very well in patches this season. I'm not saying he should be starting every game but I don't really see the point in labelling him as not good enough and saying we should sell for whatever we can get. When he signed we were told by Levein that he was an investment one for the future and not the answer to our problems, but because he went and saved our season everyone expects him to bang in 15 plus goals every season in a side that simple does not create enough chances for him. Yes I know he missed a good chance yesterday but all strikers miss good chances most strikers miss quite a few good chances, some even miss more than one good chance a game (COUGH HOWARD) but Fryatts chance yesterday was the first easy chance he's had in four games, if thats all he's getting no wonder he isn't scoreing. None of our strikers are scoreing, Campbells record reads very similar to Fryatts, Corts is worse, and Humes would read likewise if he wasn't able to create his own chances from range. John I'll admit has a better record and would be a good player a usefull player at this level if he could stay fit. Which he can't.

Patches isnt good enough, and in my opinion, a striker playing well is not dribbling with the ball a bit, then losing it, having weak shots, getting pushed off the ball. Its getting himself into a position to score a goal, which Fryatt hasnt done enough this season. He done it yesterday and missed. I've never said we should sell him. I think he is an investment - but he doesnt seem to have improved enough in his time here. Hopefully with the coaching of Hayles he will become the player i think he can. I just think DJ is the better option - he is as good in pretty much every department as Fryatt, and has that one thing defenders hate - pace. And why the ridiculing of Howard? We've got a good player here, we probably paid too much for him, but hes easily very good at this level and well you know it.
Alexikokopops Posted 2 January 2008 Posted 2 January 2008 While we're on the subject does anyone else wonder if Linvoy Primus listens to Primus?

I'm not ridiculing him I think if we going to slate one player for missing and easy chance we may as well by consistant a slate everyone who does.
The People's Hero Posted 2 January 2008 Posted 2 January 2008 While we're on the subject does anyone else wonder if Linvoy Primus listens to Primus? He drives a Toyota Prius and he's drawn an 'm' in. No one should have to listen to Primus.
WetFlannel Posted 2 January 2008 Posted 2 January 2008 I'm not ridiculing him I think if we going to slate one player for missing and easy chance we may as well by consistant a slate everyone who does. But at least Howard did more in that game that miss a chance... He hit the post which was very unlucky, and also won almost every header. When was the last time we have ever won a header? Howard was excellent yesterday, but Fryatt didn't do anything except almsot hit the corner flag with a volley, and miss from 3 yards out.

Geordie Posted 2 January 2008 Author Posted 2 January 2008 Absolutely pathetic, the excuses being made for some of there players, who have season on season demonstrated they are not good enough to play for our Club. Each time one of them goes down injured I pray it is career ending so we don't have to suffer their shitness ever again and we might even blag some compo.
