I like most of the tracks off Men's Needs, Women's Needs, Whatever... haven't heard much of their older stuff though.

'Be Safe' is amazing. Very odd, but stunning lyrics. If anyone can shed any light on why I find this song quite so, "oh... my... god..." please enlighten me - it's completely irrational as it's about as far from 'sexy' as you'd think you could get. :dunno::ph34r:

I see your hallway, you are a dark hallway

I hear your stairs creak

I can fix my mind on your 'yes', on your 'no'

I'll film your face today in the sparkling canals

All red, yellow, blue, green brilliance and silver Dutch reflection

Racing thoughts, racing thoughts

All too real, you're moving so fast now I can't hold your image

This image I have of your face by the window,

me standing beside you, arm on your shoulder

A catalogue of images, flashing glimpses, then gone again

I'm tethered to this post you've sunk in me and

Every clear afternoon, now I will think of you: up in the air, twisting your heel,

Your knees up around me, my face in your hair

You scream so well, your smile so loud it still rings in my ears

"I know a place we can go where you'll fall in love so hard that you'll wish you were dead" :worship:

Love a bit of Cribs.

Men's Needs Women's Needs Whatever is a very good album. The New Fellas is also a great album, but not as good as their latest one I don't think.

I could go on and on about the Cribs and im sure i probably have.

J'Adore Le Cribs!!!

'The New Fellas' is by far my second favourite album of all time. (You'll never beat 'The Queen Is Dead')

Love the new album and 'Man's Needs' is never out of my head.

Fez lent me the album and I'm not too keen.

I'd heard Men's Needs before and weren't too keen so it were a bit disappointing when that popped up.

I'll give it some more listening, but first impressions aren't ideal.

Completely agree---------awesome lyrics

Do you think your "oh my god" reaction could be something to do with the fact that you're a closet auto-erotic,s&m loving dominatrix ?? (only a suggestion)

Actually, the thought of your knees up around me with my face in your hair hmmmmmmmmmmmmm

First album better in my opinion. Second one is still good but i love the first.

There's three.

The first one is indeed the best, does that mean you don't like the third one, as you haven't alluded to it? I do concur.

Truely awesome band and probably my favourite, forking love 'em

Got all 3 albums - personally prefer the New Fellas as an album with great songs such as Martel, the wrong way to be, I'm alright me. Infact no fook it their all immense songs.

The current album is also brilliant - I'm a realist, Moving picture and I've tried everything all stand out for me

Man's needs - well dont get me started, its a song I could listen to forever. easily my most listened to song in 2007 and probably will be for many years to come it puts the countless number of u's in "tuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuune"

And to think when I saw you posting in this thread I thought you'd turned into a cribs fan overnight. I'm disappointed.

Really? i mean i absolutely love the cribs but i hate Men's Needs, i always skip that track when i put my itunes on shuffle. Give me songs like 'To Jackson' and 'The North Of England" any day.
