Rodders Posted 5 January 2008 Posted 5 January 2008 I'm trusting that's a 4-3-3. Either that, or he's playing Hume & Fryatt as wingers again. Hasn't worked before, and I doubt it ever will. So hopefully it's a 4-3-3.

adam Posted 5 January 2008 Posted 5 January 2008 Said on the radio 4-4-2 with Fryatt on theleft and Hume on the right?? Not sure though
Simon Posted 5 January 2008 Posted 5 January 2008 I'm trusting that's a 4-3-3. I hope so too, although we both know it'll end up getting pushed to 4-5-1 with Howard on his own and Hume and Fryatt deep.
davieG Posted 5 January 2008 Author Posted 5 January 2008 I like the positivity! Hume,Fryatt,Howard and Hayles!!! Well Done Oliie for going all out! Who's going to pass the ball to them
Simon Posted 5 January 2008 Posted 5 January 2008 Who's going to pass the ball to them Paul Henderson, Patrick Kisnorbo and Patrick McAuley?
Rodders Posted 5 January 2008 Posted 5 January 2008 Who's going to pass the ball to them Kisnorbo and McAuley. If there's 4 strikers, they've got a better chance of finding one of them when they hoof it up the field.
davieG Posted 5 January 2008 Author Posted 5 January 2008 I like the positivity! Hume,Fryatt,Howard and Hayles!!! Well Done Oliie for going all out! I think it would be a more realistic all out if Hayes was on the wing rather than 4 supposed strikers.
Raj Posted 5 January 2008 Posted 5 January 2008 Who's going to pass the ball to them Paul Henderson, Patrick Kisnorbo and Patrick McAuley? Too right! Ive said before fcuk midfield...just HOOF the fcuking ball upto the strikers!!! HOOFBALL!!!!!
Foxhateram Posted 5 January 2008 Posted 5 January 2008 Who's going to pass the ball to them what a strange line-up, i think it must be a 4-3-3. I cant see there being any other logical explanation? if we are playing 4-4-2 with fryatt and hume in midfield that is crazy. However didnt someoe say Hayles can play as a RW? maybe Hayles has gone right wing with hume LW and fryatt/Howard upfront edit: i checked with my mate who is a plymouth Fan and he confirmed that Hayles has played Right mid for them a few times last season. maybe this is how its working?
davieG Posted 5 January 2008 Author Posted 5 January 2008 Too right!Ive said before fcuk midfield...just HOOF the fcuking ball upto the strikers!!! HOOFBALL!!!!! So Hoof FC not Hungarian FC
Raj Posted 5 January 2008 Posted 5 January 2008 So Hoof FC not Hungarian FC Hoof FC is the way!!! This could work out...it could be a 4-3-3....a 4-2-2...a 4-4-2...NO ONE knows...Even Ollie...The saints players wont know whats going on!!! All 4 strikers could be told to just keep changing positions every 15 mins to confuse everyone!!!
Thracian Posted 5 January 2008 Posted 5 January 2008 Said on the radio 4-4-2 with Fryatt on theleft and Hume on the right??Not sure though I hope not, I've seen Fryatt playing out wide.
Candidcamera Posted 5 January 2008 Posted 5 January 2008 I wish he had played Mattock and King for Sheehan and Kenton otherwise this team will do.
Rincewind Posted 5 January 2008 Posted 5 January 2008 said 4-4-2 on the radio. I think it will depend on how the game develops. If they go a goal down they can always push one more into attack. If They are ahead. They have players on the bench or use the ones on the pitch to shut up shop, but Ollie may think they need more than one goal lead because of late equalisers that seem to happen to us.

Why isn't my old trusted radio link not working???
Stevosevic Posted 5 January 2008 Posted 5 January 2008 I hope not, I've seen Fryatt playing out wide. He didn't do too badly on the wing against Accrington IMO, still don't want to see him there.
canadianfox Posted 5 January 2008 Posted 5 January 2008 The match isnt on world today? is there anywhere to listen to it? Thanks.
Raj Posted 5 January 2008 Posted 5 January 2008 Why isn't my old trusted radio link not working??? Its Master Fox!!
Thracian Posted 5 January 2008 Posted 5 January 2008 I wish he had played Mattock and King for Sheehan and Kenton otherwise this team will do. To me his choice of personnel is okay. King won't be fit after presumably spending christmas at home and there is no way the stats suggest Mattock should be in ahead of Sheehan. All I'm bothered about is whether we'll have Fryatt out wide left in another round peg/square hole scenario. But we'll see. It may be 4-3-3 or even 4-2-4 and missing out midfield to a great extent when we attack.
