Well there wont be until it's announced but I still would vote for them in preference to the discredited main parties. Besides I believe there were in excess 50 different parties at the 2005 election so for you to assume that 'other' automatically means BNP does you no credit.

It does me nothing at all im just realistic no person in there right mind would trust one of the small inexperienced parties with our countrys welfare & a percentage of ill informed people think that the BNP are a realistic 4th party in my experience.

Have i got your back up or something Davie? :dunno:

Stalin was right wing?

A genocidal maniac he may have been, but he was not right wing.

No fair enough I was just trying to give a couple of the better known examples of wolves in sheeps clothing!

i don't agree with anything they stand for, but we have created a new underclass that obviously does, and preaching to me or any other observer that sees we have massive cultural problems won't change that.( ie don't shoot the messenger)

maybe they are stupid but it will not preclude them from voting

I didn't mean to sound as if i was attacking you sorry, I was just giving my opinion on the article you relayed.

Well having seen how the main parties have mismanaged this country for the last 45 years or more I have no faith in their ability. They're are just a bunch of self seeking careerist who have no thought for anyone but themselves and are looking to line their pockets with as much money as they can for as little effort. I see Blair's just got himself a cushy little advisory job for a couple of £mill a year.

As for my back, yes it is up - the fact that you can't see anything beyond the BNP when someone votes other was blinkered and frankly somewhat insulting.

My view is quite simple Political Parties are corrupt and prevent, by definition elected MPs from following their conscience by forcing them to tow the party line, which changes as quickly and as often as the weather in order to ensure they get and maintain their greedy snouts in the trough of public money, and add to that they are all bankrupt. And voters are happy to let these people run the country. It's Monty Python at it's very best.

You really believe that"this country is a lot better off than it was before Labour came to power"

Gadzooks Sir,i believe the phrases "rose tinted spectacles & cloud cuckoo land" sping to mind.

As do hospital waiting lists, high unemployment, inflation, one of the lowest standards of education in Europe and p!ss poor public services. And when are those who bemoan high taxes going to realise that if you want good public services you have to pay for them. I think a lot of this bad blood towards this government stems from "boredom" after 10 years of government by the same party. Governments become tired, it happened to the Tories in the mid 90's, its happening to Labour now.

Although the way the country is run is far from perfect & corruption comes as standard I think if the BNP or some littler inexperienced party were in office it could be alot worse. Its one thing to agree with there general policies but how do we know they will have the ability & the right people to look after our economy etc?!

On assuming BNP was the other option in my experience the BNP is the only other party I have heard anyone consider voting for!

You wouldn't want to go to Uppingham Road mate surely? Its a right dump. I remember only too well the horrible walk down Wicklow Drive and through Humberstone Dog Turd Sanctuary whenever mummy and daddy palmed me off and the grandparents of a Friday afternoon. Although Nando's haircuts were spot on. Hope the old fella is still alive I moved away a good few years ago now!

This is where I used to live and it was a great place to live.

It started to go downhill in the 70's though, funnily around the same time as the first influx of immigrants moved in!

Coincidence

I would suggest it wasn't the immigrants that sent the place downhill but more the general attitude towards them!?

Do you really need to ask…?

david_cameron1.jpg

It wont solve all the counties’ problems but it’s a step in the right direction, the Tories aren’t perfect and nor is Cameron… but I don’t believe that government has to be as incompetent and downright wasteful as the current one.

Big Dave all the Way! :D
