They come here and do the jobs that lazy inhabitiants of this country cannot be bothered and would nt lower themselvs to do.

The 'lazy inhabitants of this country' have been given an alternative called the Welfare System. Maybe if this was changed this section of society would have no alternative but to work therefore lowering their financial burden to the country and the taxpayer. This in turn would make more funds available to the NHS and education possibly without the need to raise tax. More people working means more revenue for the Treasury coffers.

I know people down here who get additional benefits because their child has behavioral difficulties. Where's the incentive for the parents to make an effort to sort the behavior out if it means losing money.

Another family on benefits get additional cash because their children are fussy eaters!!! WTF!!! All children are fussy eaters - I've got four of them but I don't get any extra cash. Why is that?? Oh yes, I remember...it's because I work!!

Bastards!!!!!

Rant over.

As do hospital waiting lists

Don't even start me on that one.

I know a head of a clinical unit in the NHS who under govt pressure to bring down waiting lists organised surgeries on Sundays. Almost 90% of patients don't turn up for these appts and drop off the figures until they are next referred by their GP.

Result - Govt happy, NHS Trust happy, Patient none the fooking wiser.

As I've alreadt said mate my own vies are based only upon my own personal experiences as a patient, or relative of patients. I'm quite happy to stand corrected by somebody whose experiences are based on those who work within the NHS, who will have far more knowledge of the system than myself.

Didn't realise we had so many fascists on here. 24 votes out of 52, that's a pretty conclusive lead for the Conservatives.

we're just lulling the tories into a false sense of security :D

If a patient chooses not to go to an appointment isn't it right their taken off the waiting list?

I'm actually stunned you think otherwise-missed appointments are one of the biggest strains on the NHS!

You can't moan about higher taxes and then complain that people are being removed from waiting list because they have missed appointments.

Most those who slag the NHS off do so because of what they hear in the media and actually have no bad experiences themselves, except for maybe waiting 3 hours in casualty after they've had one too many

The NHS isn't ideal and 60 years after it was formed it does need to be seriously reorganised this is going to upset people but at the end of it you'll still have a free NHS.

Under the Tories you'd have to pay to see a GP before you even get on the list!!!
