According to DavieG's list, Sheehan's contract is up in July and I wonder if that has something to do with it. Could he really be lined up for a move to Leeds as has been mentioned? With Mattock on a long-term deal and obviously in favour for whatever reason, I wonder if Sheehan has been offered another deal at all by the new boss or has perhaps been offered something but is reluctant to commit in the circumstances. Despite the chances he's created this season people have suggested Sheehan's not Holloway's type of player. I don't know about that but if there is another left-back being lined up why would Holloway need three players in that position? Any new signing would probably push Sheehan back into the reserves which I'm sure he wouldn't appreciate nor deserve after his contribution this season. Whatever the truth - and another possibility is that he's under the weather cos I noticed illness was mentioned as helping to weaken today's Academy side - he seems to have dropped off the radar.
