Thracian Posted 19 January 2008 Posted 19 January 2008 Sounds like we are missing clem and norbo. I doubt either replacement is really sharp.
Head Honcho Posted 19 January 2008 Posted 19 January 2008 It says we've had 60% possession on match stats
Thracian Posted 19 January 2008 Posted 19 January 2008 I did wonder how the new wingers would do away from home after the initial accolades of last week. Piper suggests they've barely had a kick as yet.
Thracian Posted 19 January 2008 Posted 19 January 2008 It says we've had 60% possession on match stats Did it mention the penalty box possession?
tbf Posted 19 January 2008 Posted 19 January 2008 Preston and S****horpe both losing at least, ths is going to a very hard fought match by the sounds of it. Maybe we'll start to gell as the game goes on.
Thracian Posted 19 January 2008 Posted 19 January 2008 Sounds like high time Mattock clattered Lee Crofts.
davieG Posted 19 January 2008 Posted 19 January 2008 Play-offs still our aim - Ollie Ian Holloway is not ruling out a late Leicester City drive towards the play-offs. Now that he has “his team” in place, the City boss is looking onwards and upwards. City still need to break out of the lower reaches where they have been for most of the season. But last week's win over Coventry, both in style and substance, has boosted everyone. Holloway had promised a “brand new” team and he delivered, much to the delight of the Blue Army. The play-offs remain a long-shot but Holloway is irrepressibly positive at the worst of times, so no wonder he is setting his sights that high. As City prepared to go to Norwich today in search of back-to-back victories in the Championship for the first time since last April, he said: “Over the holiday period, we won two, drew two and lost one in the league, then went out the FA Cup - and how I would like to play Southampton again with the team I have got now. “What we have to try to do is put a run of results together better than anything we did earlier on in the season. “Realistically, if we want to get into the play-offs, we need promotion form which is at least an average of two points a game which is no mean feat. But where do we start? “Why can't we start by aiming at that? That is how I feel and the lads understand that. And, if their leader is talking things up and their energy is still very high from the weekend, then why not? “As far as I am concerned, my team has played one match and won one match with the balance I have added and that is what I am going to take with me.” Strong stuff from a strong manager and, while the trip to Norwich could check any momentum before it has really started, there is no doubt this is a different City. And from what Holloway is saying, the target is also now a lot different.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 19 January 2008 Posted 19 January 2008 GGGGGGOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLL na not really but come on you foxes

Thracian Posted 19 January 2008 Posted 19 January 2008 Sounds desperate, only a matter of time untill they score Especially if they keep falling further and further back.
Guest Posted 19 January 2008 Posted 19 January 2008 Sounds like alnwick is playing well. Just what i was thinking
maddog Posted 19 January 2008 Posted 19 January 2008 Seems like we are getting battered. We haven't had a chance, seem to have everyone sitting back. Looks like we hit a turning point last Saturday and now we are turning back around again. Another false dawn i fear. These lost to Bury for god sake. Why aren't we going for it and attacking!
acooling08 Posted 19 January 2008 Posted 19 January 2008 anyone else on live updates on the blue army.co.uk? Sounds like they are outplaying us. Alnick playing well
