The People's Hero Posted 25 January 2008 Posted 25 January 2008 Havent you got any ID to buy some yourself Paul Smith? As reigning Mr University of Leicester I have to be careful about revealing my identity in the City.
AoWW Posted 25 January 2008 Posted 25 January 2008 Is anyone bringing me some cans along?Ta. Cans of what? I'm Tescos shopping after work so if folks wanna sweet talk me and get specific requests in they best get a wriggle on. And, no, I am not buying beers for all of ya.

And, no, I am not buying beers for all of ya. Just the good looking ones. I'll have 4 cans of fosters, I'll tell Fez he has to get his own.

Looks like I might be a bit tight for time with getting up there via Northampton and the hospital. All good though.

'Bitter of some type' means nothing to me - lager I can deal with making decisions over but not bitter. Be fooking specific and I'll try my best.
Daggers Posted 25 January 2008 Author Posted 25 January 2008 Black Horse - 1pm(ish) Big Barry is signing half-price shirts though so I guess many of you will be there instead.

Be fooking specific and I'll try my best. Anything that doesn't say 'smooth' or 'tesco value' in the title is good. Off the top off my head, I think Tesco's do 4 cans of IPA for £2.99 My preference would be something like Old Speckled Hen, (stronger) but I will appreciate whatever is provided. ; )
AoWW Posted 25 January 2008 Posted 25 January 2008 Just the good looking ones.I'll have 4 cans of fosters, I'll tell Fez he has to get his own. Good to see I won't have to bother with a trolly then. Couple of cans should just about cover it. Oh, and I'll be driving (booo!!) so if anyone needs lifts or anything, let me know - I'll then decide how obliging I feel based on whether I like ya or not! PM me or find someone who has my mobile number!!

I'd just assume the games on tomorrow btw, everywhere has dried up it would take a down pour of biblical proportions to make the pitch unplayable (Forecast is mild no rain) I'll text you if this happens.
AoWW Posted 25 January 2008 Posted 25 January 2008 Black Horse - 1pm(ish)Big Barry is signing half-price shirts though so I guess many of you will be there instead. Gizza clue where it is. I assume The Black Horse is not the same as The Old Horse? Or is it an old, black horse? I'd just assume the games on tomorrow btw, everywhere has dried up it would take a down pour of biblical proportions to make the pitch unplayable (Forecast is mild no rain) I'll text you if this happens. Yep, ta - will do!

Daggers Posted 25 January 2008 Author Posted 25 January 2008 I'll do anything as long as it doesn't interfere with me drinking and doesn't mean I have to move.
Manwell Pablo Posted 25 January 2008 Posted 25 January 2008 I'll do anything as long as it doesn't interfere with me drinking and doesn't mean I have to move. Actually are you brining your lad with you, he'd probabley be better than the buffon that ruled out James's goal in the last game.

The Old Horse - 1pm(ish) Here ah-ha, yes.. thanks - the Old Horse I know. Just didn't wanna be galloping round and round the citeh looking for a pub that's straight out of an Anna Sewell novel, only to find it doesn't actually exist. Or, knowing my luck, exists but is in the depths of St Matthews.

Or, knowing my luck, exists but is in the depths of St Matthews. Me and Nibblington used to spend a lot of time in there. I'm willing to bet that Fez did too. They had a pool table, a dart board, real ale on tap (3 choices), a regular karaoke night and some ridiculous pre-madferit (which was sh it) drink offers night.
Daggers Posted 25 January 2008 Author Posted 25 January 2008 Actually are you brining your lad with you, he'd probabley be better than the buffon that ruled out James's goal in the last game. Nope. Use a sub from each side

Alexikokopops Posted 25 January 2008 Posted 25 January 2008 Erm, what's happening tomorrow Re: Woolers and Fez?
Manwell Pablo Posted 25 January 2008 Posted 25 January 2008 Erm, what's happening tomorrow Re: Woolers and Fez? I dunno. They're meeting us at the game, We need to get back to your house somehow. Discuss.
The People's Hero Posted 25 January 2008 Posted 25 January 2008 Erm, what's happening tomorrow Re: Woolers and Fez? I'm driving up tomorrow morning to pick Fez up, then I'm gonna show up at your digs. I think Fezzy needs to get to the hospital too on the way to the game. Believe the plan is we go to the game in your car (as per your text).
Fez of Mahrez Posted 25 January 2008 Posted 25 January 2008 Will ring all three of you tonight. Been hectic here today.
