Our away form has been dismal lately - Hull was so bad I've barely been able to contemplate an away match since.

The new wingers might get fully fit and might prove popular at home but it remains to be seen if they can offer anything in the hostile environment of an away game.

And if we play our home games as we did against Palace they too will be a lottery.

For me our side still doesn't have enough pace nor enough players, in enough places, who score goals.

Discounting Hume, who's a displaced striker when he plays there, we haven't had a goal from a winger in ages and Clemence/Wesolowski have one League goal between them in over half a season!

Even McAuley's only scored once this season and Mattock doesn't score so we're basically left with our strikers, none of whom have yet been prolific with us, Kisnorbo and, occasionally, Stearman. It's just not enough.

I reckon a team needs two 15 goals a season strikers, two 10 goals a season replacements, 8 goals between the two wingers, 10 goals from various central midfielders, six or seven goals from centre-backs and four from the full-backs to do any good. In other words 78 goals plus.

We score marginally less than a goal a game so we're on the way to being 30 goals short.

I'm sorry to be so clinical but winning football matches is all about being focused on what you are trying to achieve in the season. I said in August we'd need two goals a game on average. And if you don't give yourself chance to get those goals you're running like Dobbin in the Derby.

A Blackpool WIN - 2-1 Either 1 of the new wingers to get their 1st goal + Super Steve

H Plymouth DRAW - Should be an interesting game what with everything thats gone on but as it so often transpires... it'll be shite 0-0

A Watford DRAW Tough one but we'll hold out, just, with a last minute equaliser from Huuuuuuuummmmmmmmmmmmmmme :whistle:

H Norwich WIN because we're turning the bowl into a fortress so we'll pick up points ;)

A Coventry WIN A double in a matter of months, easy
