Ozwin Posted 7 February 2008 Posted 7 February 2008 I just confirmed to buy two tickets for Saturdays game but it doesn't say anything about delivery or pick up. Am I expected to go to the ground and pick them up or is there still time for them to deliver them to my house? I entered my address earlier when registering and have confirmed the order now so I'm a bit confused. Little help?

They wouldn't send them out in the post today, the Royal Mail is shit.
Ozwin Posted 7 February 2008 Author Posted 7 February 2008 Can I go pick them up tommorow? From the actual office? Because I'd rather thave them in my hand so I can walk in straight the way with no fuss.

Jimmy Posted 7 February 2008 Posted 7 February 2008 Can I go pick them up tommorow? From the actual office? Because I'd rather thave them in my hand so I can walk in straight the way with no fuss. email the ticket office [email protected]
Ozwin Posted 7 February 2008 Author Posted 7 February 2008 Cheers Jimmy. Just gave them a bell. Hopefully they reply asap. I'm rubbish at this ticket lark, it's no wonder I rarely go.
Daggers Posted 7 February 2008 Posted 7 February 2008 I used the online facility twice shortly after it came online - and both times it ****ed up. I got my tickets, but it was a real pain. The system may have been improved since then but I'll not be using it. To my mind, an online facility ought to be able to let you select your seats and pay a price that is the same or less than that you'd pay in the ticket office, by phone or email...but it didn't and wasn't. Add on the faltering pages and the lack of information generated meant that it was as poor as the online shop. Both the online shopping areas smacked of being designed on a budget and could have done with being redesigned by someone with more than half a clue about how to do it. If this has been done I take it back, but I don't go there anymore because of it.
Ozwin Posted 7 February 2008 Author Posted 7 February 2008 Gee, thanks. >_> What do you suggest then Daggers? I should go to the store and pick them up? You've got me all worried now.
Ozwin Posted 7 February 2008 Author Posted 7 February 2008 Double post. Anyway, after resending the conformation email I got this message in it: Delivery Information: Tickets will not be ready for collection for a minimum of 2 full working days after booking. Tickets booked within 2 days of match will not be posted, and will not be ready for collection until match day. So basically I have no choice but to go into the ticket office on Saturday and get them then. At least that's sorted. I'll go in at 12 or something and then head into town for a bit. I'm not queing up at 5.00pm >_>

Daggers Posted 7 February 2008 Posted 7 February 2008 Gee, thanks. >_>What do you suggest then Daggers? I should go to the store and pick them up? You've got me all worried now. First, don't worry. Second, go collect them from the office first thing on Saturday but take a printout of your confirmation email and the card you used. Third, now (with plenty of time to kill) go to pub and drink until 4:30. I think I may become a Life Coach
Fez of Mahrez Posted 7 February 2008 Posted 7 February 2008 I've had to pick up tickets endless number of times from the kiosk outside the West Stand on matchdays and never had any problems.
lavrentis Posted 7 February 2008 Posted 7 February 2008 The small shack thing that they will be in doesn't have that large queues to be honest. Just queue In the line which your last name starts with.
Ozwin Posted 7 February 2008 Author Posted 7 February 2008 I havn't got a print out but I've written down all the info such as Ref number and whatnot. The ticket office will have them if I go at 12, I mean this 'caravan' thing isn't open all day is it?

Alexikokopops Posted 7 February 2008 Posted 7 February 2008 I've ordered online a number of times and had no problems, including picking up at the kiosk. It's also just as easy to email the ticket office saying you want some tickets, putting your phone number in the email. That way they ring you back and you don't have to hang around waiting.
Ozwin Posted 7 February 2008 Author Posted 7 February 2008 Sorry to be a pest but what do I need to get my tickets from the ticket caravan? Just my name and seat number?
Alexikokopops Posted 7 February 2008 Posted 7 February 2008 Sorry to be a pest but what do I need to get my tickets from the ticket caravan? Just my name and seat number? They ask for your name and the first line of your address if I remember correctly.
Ozwin Posted 7 February 2008 Author Posted 7 February 2008 Ah that's good then. Thanks you lot. I promise I won't ask anymore questions
WetFlannel Posted 7 February 2008 Posted 7 February 2008 Ah that's good then. Thanks you lot. I promise I won't ask anymore questions Theres never any queues so you dont need to go too early... Usually I'm straight in with no hassle.
Ozwin Posted 7 February 2008 Author Posted 7 February 2008 So you just say your name and address then? Don't need any fancy reference numbers or anything? Since you do it fairly often.
WetFlannel Posted 7 February 2008 Posted 7 February 2008 So you just say your name and address then? Don't need any fancy reference numbers or anything? Since you do it fairly often. Just name and address... Thats it.

Ozwin Posted 8 February 2008 Author Posted 8 February 2008 This is crazy. On the order page it says my tickets have been dispatched. This is well messed up. They better arrive tommorow or I'm having words.
