Stevosevic Posted 7 February 2008 Posted 7 February 2008 Thinking about going over for a short stay to see either the Real Vallodolid game or the Getafe game. Been searching the net for tickets, average price is about £38, however on the Barcelona OS it says tickets are 30 euros from the club ticket office at the stadium and they go on sale one month before the game - problem is I don't think you can purchase them online. This is where i need advice, there are two options... 1 - Buy now at a higher price but guarantee a ticket for a game. 2 - Or turn up on the day and purchase one then. I see their average attendance is only 68,000 so they are unlikely to sell out. Anyone else been to a game? What did you do? Cheers for any replies.
Staf Posted 7 February 2008 Posted 7 February 2008 I was gutted when i went to the Nou Camp they were playing the day i was leaving i was gutted i had a tour and it was an impressive ground and museum have a good time mate
andyh1884 Posted 7 February 2008 Posted 7 February 2008 Went to see Barca vs Valencia in 2000 when I was over there on a football tour. Absolutely awesome stadium, we were on the back row of the top tier & it's a pretty scary place to be. We bought our tickets on the day, just rocked up to the ticket booth.
Uncle Albert Posted 7 February 2008 Posted 7 February 2008 Been round the stadium, never watched a game there. My Uncle went to watch the Barca Chelsea Champions League game in 05 and he said it was bloody scary how high up the away fans sit.
Tommeh Posted 7 February 2008 Posted 7 February 2008 Going in a week, can't wait. Barca Barca!! A game would have been nice but the tour will be awesome, just like the rest of the trip
Darkzzz_ Posted 7 February 2008 Posted 7 February 2008 Well you have found the right man.... I have been going to the Camp Nou once a year since 2005 so this year will be my 4 trip. What a feeling, being in the greatest stadium in the world...(apart from the walkers) and watching them stars on show. If you do go check out Ronaldinho (if he is fit) warming up on his own doing tricks....!! AMAZING!!! Also on the whole Barcelona as a city is one of the greatest places on this planet.... It is amazing, so much to do!! A beautiful place to take your missus aswell, my missus loves footy so she loved being in the camp nou!! Enjoy It!! My Barca games: vs Athletico Madrid- 2 nil to athletico (torres double) vs Betis- 5-1 to barcelona (larsson, Ronaldinho, Messi, 2 own goals) Joaquin got a free kick for Betis! vs Villareal- 4-0 to barcelona (Ronaldinho 2, Gudjohnsson 1, Ineista 1) The last game was the Ronaldinho wonder goal overhead kick... you can check my own video as i was recording at the time. General Smuts Posted 7 February 2008 Posted 7 February 2008 I've been on the tour and to the museum but never went to a game. Got to hold the UEFA Cup though
Super Arj Posted 7 February 2008 Posted 7 February 2008 been there and watched a freindly for a league game you'll be ok if you buy at the door... unless its against someone like sevilla or madrid dust up on your spanish because they have different rates for tourists..
Sods Posted 7 February 2008 Posted 7 February 2008 Had a football tour in the summer. But our whole squad was totally hung over from the night before and the heat got to us so we didn't look that keen. Was good though.
morris1234 Posted 7 February 2008 Posted 7 February 2008 yeah i went, the museum was pretty good, the shops huge, its got like 3 floors! had my photo taken with ronaldinho and eto'o!!!!!
Ricosas Adianski Posted 7 February 2008 Posted 7 February 2008 New poster here!! I went in late '07 and it was'nt all that great.you didnt get a proper guide just a handheld audio descriptor.(which you had to buy for 5 euros)You were just left to wander around without a tour guide and when i went most of the changing rooms were cornerd of for refurbishment. If you ask me then its no way as impressive as wembley or old trafford.theres also no roof for the away seating so if it rains then it rains.
Raj Posted 7 February 2008 Posted 7 February 2008 yeah i went, the museum was pretty good, the shops huge, its got like 3 floors! had my photo taken with ronaldinho and eto'o!!!!! Been to the tour. Massive place. But just beware they dont take cards as pament. Well, they didnt take mine anyway!
lildave3 Posted 7 February 2008 Posted 7 February 2008 A game would have been nice but the tour will be awesome, just like the rest of the trip What's with all this foreign tripping at the minute? I think I need me some of this action.
Samilktray Posted 7 February 2008 Posted 7 February 2008 What's with all this foreign tripping at the minute? I think I need me some of this action. Do you fancy a road trip? Im thinking Cambodia followed by Angola, then onto Montenegro, followed by Armenia, finishing in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
lildave3 Posted 7 February 2008 Posted 7 February 2008 Do you fancy a road trip? Im thinking Cambodia followed by Angola, then onto Montenegro, followed by Armenia, finishing in Bosnia and Herzegovina. I was thinking more mainstream, like Guatemala tbh.
Samilktray Posted 7 February 2008 Posted 7 February 2008 I was thinking more mainstream, like Guatemala tbh. Pfft. You need to explore the world, why limit ourselves to such common filth.
lildave3 Posted 7 February 2008 Posted 7 February 2008 Pfft. You need to explore the world, why limit ourselves to such common filth. How about Burundi? Or Mauritania? Vanuatu? Myanmar? Laos?
Samilktray Posted 7 February 2008 Posted 7 February 2008 How about Burundi? Or Mauritania? Vanuatu? Myanmar? Laos? So commercial.
