The People's Hero Posted 12 February 2008 Posted 12 February 2008 I've just made the executive decision to drink myself silly tonight. As master of my own mind, I'm free (and willing) to make this sort of decisions.
AoWW Posted 12 February 2008 Posted 12 February 2008 Does anyone have any idea where they're drinking tonight? I'm gonna be in Watford (hopefully!) fairly early tonight and would love a pre-match drink somewhere. No idea where though. Someone take pity on me, please.....
Wooly Posted 12 February 2008 Posted 12 February 2008 You know what I mean though. The atmosphere at the game was dreadful, tepid at best, just not sure why it keeps getting brought up all the time as an example of how away fans should be? We see better nearly every week visiting our stadium and that's even with our terrible home support offering no kind of opposition to them!

I think it was more to do with the day as a whole not just the game.

Our away support has been a hell of a lot worse than Crystal Palace. I didn't even think it was that bad

General consensus is the bar opposite the away ground but that will be rammed. Ill be in the town centre probably at Bar Me from 6.

If work hadn't blocked all interesting sites this week, I would have responded to this plea. 15 quid and i didnt even have a seat! Pfft! You should have been in the Geriatric Wing....
Guest Posted 13 February 2008 Posted 13 February 2008 Well that was a lot of fun in the Gents? Certainly beats watching the game...
Monk Posted 13 February 2008 Posted 13 February 2008 haha. I meant to say 'ladies and gents' apologies.

Monk Posted 13 February 2008 Posted 13 February 2008 Oh sod off I'm tired and grumpy. I'm glad I'll be spending the final 2 weeks of the season in South America not knowing if we are relegated or not
ASH17LCFC Posted 13 February 2008 Posted 13 February 2008 Me and my mate got the old Give me ST George in my heart keep me English going today. Singing 10 German bombers on the way to the ground and even a few Watford lads joined in. Good atmosphere i thought, just shit songs.

I'm glad I'll be spending the final 2 weeks of the season in South America not knowing if we are relegated or not I'm hoping to consume copious amounts of South American grape based alcoholic beverages during the last two weeks of the season to guarantee my ignorance. I much preferred the Plymouth game to tonights.

Monk Posted 13 February 2008 Posted 13 February 2008 There was a fair amount of chants bordering on racism towards the Watford subs warming up 'I heard you came on a Lorry' and 'Where's your passport'. Wasn't impressed

It was only the small minority [cough] Jobber [/cough] I felt sorry for Bangura.

Really, do they have any relevance to Leicester? NO, so why sing them at a Leicester game?
