LeeCovFox Posted 8 February 2008 Posted 8 February 2008 I always wondered how a settlement in the backwater county of Devon managed to claim a population comparable to the industrial cities of the Midlands and the North. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/health/7233590.stm
Daggers Posted 8 February 2008 Posted 8 February 2008 LeeCovFox is in line to sweep the boards at the annual awards if he/she keeps this up. Plus, if LeeCovFox has photos to prove he/she is in fact a he/she then he/she could become quite wealthy to boot.

Koke Posted 8 February 2008 Posted 8 February 2008 Biggest family re-union in town tomorrow, since Coventry was here.
LeeCovFox Posted 8 February 2008 Author Posted 8 February 2008 Oh dear. It gets worse. This happened in Portsmouth. So maybe incest is a south coast thing. Cousins is one thing. But mum's hand cuffs? In her room? Bloody hell. Must be the sea air or something. http://news.sky.com/skynews/article/0,,91059-1304220,00.html
Bryn Posted 8 February 2008 Posted 8 February 2008 I'm sure I once read somewhere that animals (including us) innately seek out people with strong genes, and that part of strong genes means a good mix of being both inbred and outbred; in other words, we are attracted to people that we are kind of related to but not too closely. Complete outbreeding dilutes strong genes and complete inbreeding leads to genetic stagnation and mutation.
