What has Kishishev done to get back into the squad?

What has Mattock done to be dropped completely from the squad?

Why take Bori off at half time for a striker when Zsolts on the bench, strikers on both wings has already failed in the most obvious fashion at Southampton and Blackpool.

Sorry Ollie, but I'm fast losing faith in you, I know you care about the Plymouth club, fans, and area, but this is giving the match away.

Kishishev will be something to do with lack of options and a decent game for the ressies and Mattock was due a rest. I'm entirely with your third point.

People can say what they want to me regarding this comment... TIME TO GO OLLIE.

He's never given me the right vibes, i didn't think he was the best man for the job, gave him a chance but nothing has improved.

Agreed. i hate to do the typical Leicester fan thing and say the manager should go straight after a loss. However, nothing has improved and nothing looks like improving. What makes it even worse is how well Warnock and Roeder have done.

Were a joke as it is.

Sack him now and no-one in thier right mind would come near this job.

We'd end up with some old has been that would be worse than Ollie i'm afraid.

Sam Allardyce is avaliable?

He will be going to Wolves at the end of the season mate. And anyway, I still have faith in Oliie. I think its unfair to judge a manger before he has had his own pre season. We won't go down. It would take any manager many months to sort out the mess he inherited. He has been here for less than 3 months. Give the blke a chance. The money he would have liked to have spent had to be used to pay players off this January. He has brought in short term stop gaps to keep us up, thats all. Only Howard and Oakley were really brought in with next season in mind. Lazcko and Bori were suppsoed to be back up for Norris and Martin. In the summer he will build his own team. Then we can judge him.

Someone's going to mention it before long, so it may as well be me.

Gary Megson.

How come with the same squad at his disposal, we didn't look quite so shit under Megson as we currently do? Granted we didn't win much, but we didn't lose all that many either during Megson's brief tenure.

Because the team was overloaded with right backs, and we were in his final match against Burnley.

I have a question.

Why was the real reason Steve Howard was signed?

Sure hes a decent enough scorer at this level but i'm beginning to feel that the real reason he was signed was so the players had a big target to hit with thier hoofs.

Coventry aside the approach to everygame he's played has been to hoof it upto him just bypass the midfield and hope for the best.

I don't ask for Arsenalesque football but come on me and maybe the majority of the fans expect them to at least try play it on the deck and get it out wide. Unfortunantly this only happens once in a while when really we should be trying to do this for the majority of the game.

Most people in the footballing world would say Megson is a better manager, and i would agree.

In regards to our Chairman...

Why didn't he just be the strong leader he fancies himself as, from the beginning?

He really wanted to appoint Warnock, but seemingly backed down in the face of fan opposition. If he'd have been the strong leader, and he'd have appointed Warnock from the off, there's no telling where we'd be right now. Just look at Palace... :giggle::ph34r:

Ol' Colin said he turned down the job because he said it was to soon after leaving Sheff Utd. He said it wasn't the right time to return.

First of all I want to say that I think Ollie is the right man for the job. He was my first choice at that time. But I agree with your statement. I was one of those who wanted Warnock at the time. The buck has to stop with Milan. I blame what happend last summer for our poor season. As much as I believe Martin Allen was irresponsible, every transfer was sanctioned by the chairman.

After Martin Allen? Megson was appointed on September 13th... Warnock joined Palace on October 11th... within a month.

Perhaps he could have been tempted in mid-September?

I guess we needed a sub for midfield, what other options are there?

What has Mattock done to be dropped completely from the squad?

It was said he was 'rested'. Fair enough, I'll accept that but on todays performance, I'd much rather see Mattock at LB than Clapham. Okay, Clapham's distribution was good but his positional sense on many occassions was woeful.

Why take Bori off at half time for a striker when Zsolts on the bench, strikers on both wings has already failed in the most obvious fashion at Southampton and Blackpool.

This desision left me utterly baffled. What the hell is the point in bringing in two wingers and making such a fuss over their importance and then not play them during the games where they are so blatantly and obviously needed.

Hayles was shockingly bad tonight. Too slow, too ponderous and a prime offender in the many times we squandered possession. Hume is simply no good on the wings. We know this. Hume knows this. Ollie knows this... so why in hell does he keep appearing in that position. It simple does not work.

Sorry Ollie, but I'm fast losing faith in you, I know you care about the Plymouth club, fans, and area, but this is giving the match away.

I think we are showing some signs of better understanding between the players, some nice movement and effective interplay. Yet, we're seeing it all too briefly. It's never allowed to flourish or develop because we have too many players who just squander our possession on rushed or hopeful balls over the top. This is made all the worse by a manager who seems to actively promote this tactic.

I'm dissapointed in Ollie so far. He promises so much and, tbh, has a squad who are capable of playing at a much higher level, yet he has so far failed to deliver. I really want to seem him succeed but with his bizarre squad selections, his pet players, his ludicrous substitutions he seems to be his own worst enemy right now.
