Bert Posted 9 February 2008 Posted 9 February 2008 Did anyone else notice this little battle? They were mouthing off to each other all game, McAuley struck first and nailed him, but Easter lashed out and caught McAuley in his face, no booking so could possibly get a ban. Or maybe it's just me.

A league 2 striker pissed all over him.He along with the rest of them are the reason we are where we are. To be fair if your gunna be like that then McAuley is a league 2 defender aswell. Which personally i think he is. He might be brave and have a decent positional sense but lack of pace and distribuion is a real let down. Some of his attempts at passing are woeful and embaressing. I don't know how players can get so far up when they can't even pass a ball properly.

C-Man made a great point at half time, we should have cashed in and got a half decent centre half that has a knowledge of how to pass and deal with the ball.

And most of the time he was caught offside whenever the ball was played to him.

I've been saying cash in on McAuley for weeks tbh. But you make a good point they are part of the reason why we are in so much shit.
