Joe. Posted 12 February 2008 Posted 12 February 2008 http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/athletics/7240294.stm Personally I have no problems with it although I know some do. He's done wrong and he's served his suspension. As far as I'm concerned he should be allowed to be in this squad again.
DB11 Posted 12 February 2008 Posted 12 February 2008 He's served his punishment so history is history. If he wins a gold medal for us who will be complaining then? (Except for maybe the guy who finished second )
Darkzzz_ Posted 12 February 2008 Posted 12 February 2008 Yes i am just happy he can do it with out the silly sweets he took! He is a beast isnt he!! Akinbiyi of athletics, least he will actually be able to hit his targets!!!
FleckneyFox Posted 12 February 2008 Posted 12 February 2008 I have no problem with it BUT hes not allowed to compete in the Olympics so i think it would have made more sense to send Craig Pickering or Simeon Williamson.
AyewJoking Posted 12 February 2008 Posted 12 February 2008 Leave the bloke alone and let him get on with it.
Head Honcho Posted 12 February 2008 Posted 12 February 2008 I have no problem with it BUT hes not allowed to compete in the Olympics so i think it would have made more sense to send Craig Pickering or Simeon Williamson. Pickering blew it big style so no he shouldn't be in the team. Chambers will appeal and win imo.
dandannieldanok Posted 12 February 2008 Posted 12 February 2008 They should change the rules if they don't want him in, IMO if he is within in his rights to compete and he is the best sprinter (which he has proved) then he deserves to be in the squad.
Micky Ruddle Posted 12 February 2008 Posted 12 February 2008 Everyone deserves a second chance Bring back Martin Allen then
lildave3 Posted 13 February 2008 Posted 13 February 2008 Drugs can be forgotten. NFL Germany, cannot.
Darkzzz_ Posted 13 February 2008 Posted 13 February 2008 FFS.... All the ex Athletes jumping on his back.... Get lost the lot of you!!!! OAFS
Alexikokopops Posted 13 February 2008 Posted 13 February 2008 Fez got all excited when he saw the headline "Chambers in controversial selection policy" on the train yesterday. He thought it had something to do with our James at left-back.
dandannieldanok Posted 13 February 2008 Posted 13 February 2008 LCFC fans maybe fickle but Kelly Holmes has taken it to a new level: GB should pick Chambers - Holmes June 2006 Chambers deserves flak - Holmes February 2008
FoxesFan100 Posted 13 February 2008 Posted 13 February 2008 Personally i think that he should be allowed back and glad he has, as he served his punishment, i heard on the radio that when your caught drink driving you get fined and suspended and then are allowed to drvie again but you are puttining people l;ives at risk, doing drugs in sport like this isnt so obviously you deserve a second chance. I hope i made that clear as it doesnt sound it.

Joe. Posted 7 March 2008 Author Posted 7 March 2008 http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/athletics/7281945.stm Silver medal.
lildave3 Posted 7 March 2008 Posted 7 March 2008 I would love to see him win Olympic gold personally. Not only because it'd be a gold for the Brits, but to see if people changed their opinions.
