Staf Posted 18 February 2008 Posted 18 February 2008 Looking forward to this one hoping for a win but i cant see us winning with them having a new manager and we all know how well teams do when they have a new manager i will go for a 1-1 draw
Nath Posted 18 February 2008 Posted 18 February 2008 Coleman it is CHRISSY COLEMANS SKY BLUE ARMY Wow, you might see a 'Big' attendance for once. Chirs Coleman is nothing special. Im sure u was happier when Dowie took over.
lildave3 Posted 18 February 2008 Posted 18 February 2008 Chris Coleman is a good appointment for them imo, there are certainly worse managers around.
Jack Posted 18 February 2008 Posted 18 February 2008 Looking forward to this one, getting my tickets soon. I reckon we can do 'em.
George Posted 18 February 2008 Posted 18 February 2008 Nah i never really liked Dowie i am over the moon with this appointment To be honest
Nath Posted 18 February 2008 Posted 18 February 2008 Nah i never really liked Dowiei am over the moon with this appointment To be honest Till he realises what a shit team you are and buggers off back to spain. Face it, he doesn't know this league.
Koke Posted 18 February 2008 Posted 18 February 2008 Nah i never really liked Dowiei am over the moon with this appointment To be honest Hows Michael Mifsud? I hear he's shit these days. Getting taken off at half-time, and getting booed off. Poor soul.
Shrenchel Posted 18 February 2008 Posted 18 February 2008 Face it, he doesn't know this league. Haha doesn't he?! Just got promoted from it by guess-work?! Face it, Coleman is an excellent appointment. He'll do well. I remember when Megson did one a lot more people on here had Coleman as their first choice than Holloway. We are still gunna rape them on Saturday though.

Tigana did.
Shrenchel Posted 18 February 2008 Posted 18 February 2008 Coleman didn't get Fulham promoted.Tigana did. This of course is true, I'm a disabled. I retract my haha. Still think he's a good manager who a lot of people on here have pined after during our many managerless periods.
George Posted 18 February 2008 Posted 18 February 2008 Hows Michael Mifsud? I hear he's shit these days. Getting taken off at half-time, and getting booed off. Poor soul. Never really rated him either
FleckneyFox Posted 18 February 2008 Posted 18 February 2008 Im gonna go! my first away game :w00t: gonna be cracking with 5000 of us + Coleman at the helm for Cov and a good chance of winning after their 5-0 thrashing. gonna be a cracking day out!
WetFlannel Posted 18 February 2008 Posted 18 February 2008 Im gonna go! my first away game :w00t: gonna be cracking with 5000 of us + Coleman at the helm for Cov and a good chance of winning after their 5-0 thrashing. gonna be a cracking day out! I would't get your hopes up to much...
STUHILL Posted 18 February 2008 Posted 18 February 2008 I think this will be a game we should be up for winning, after all the talk of not winning two in a row, and lack of consistency. Also, a lot of the nerves should have been blown away by that convincing 4 goal win! Cov are shot of confidence. It won't be as easy as Norwich but I still see a convincing win, maybe a 2-0 But then again, we are Leicester, World beaters one week, shite on the bottom of your shoe, the next week!!!
Rich Fox Posted 18 February 2008 Posted 18 February 2008 Never really rated him either Hi george changing the subject a bit but wheres the best pub for away fans to go before the game, ive heard its the black horse inn exhall by bayton road, i know how much you cov lot hate us cus i live in warwickshire and dont want any grief just a good sing song and a few beers.
The Reverend Posted 19 February 2008 Posted 19 February 2008 Chris Coleman would be an excellent appointment for Cov, no doubt. Proven manager with little resources. Excellent appointment. Anyway, if they have Coleman in charge, cant see us winning, new managers first game syndrome, we wont win.
Darkzzz_ Posted 19 February 2008 Posted 19 February 2008 The new managers syndrome is something i have always hated to be honest! I am however slightly confident we can pick the 3 points up here... Thats only if we bring our Horse back.... And his mate AJ....
Stevosevic Posted 19 February 2008 Posted 19 February 2008 Wont Colemans first game be tonight? So we could miss out on the first game syndrome.
Darkzzz_ Posted 19 February 2008 Posted 19 February 2008 Yes good point... is it 100% a done deal then?
Ric Flair Posted 19 February 2008 Posted 19 February 2008 Chris Coleman is a fantastic appointment for The Shitters if i'm honest. I don't care whether he's not managed at this level before, he did well at Fulham given Al Fayed tightened the pursestrings during his tenure, but then gave Sanchez and Hodgson wedge once he left and Tigana had plenty before him. I still hope we can upset their applecart though.
syston_fox Posted 19 February 2008 Posted 19 February 2008 Aye they playing Wednesday tonight. Not any more they're not!
lildave3 Posted 19 February 2008 Posted 19 February 2008 Aye they playing Wednesday tonight. That post confused the hell out of me.
Darkzzz_ Posted 19 February 2008 Posted 19 February 2008 Just going to plan my route as this will be the first time i have drove myself to coventry... Look out for Darker1985 El Matador somewhere at the front.... come on!!!!
AmericanScott Posted 19 February 2008 Posted 19 February 2008 Coleman has been named the new gaffer at Covscum. For the first time in my life i'm actually nervous about facing Coventry, and i'll be there with Unit. I still expect us to do well though, hopefully.
