Finchy Posted 27 February 2008 Posted 27 February 2008 Crazy stuff, i love it! Have a listen....... http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=XVnRzEjpUmE Such an addictive tune.
Trumpet Posted 5 March 2008 Posted 5 March 2008 Trippin' Its certainly a grower. I need to watch the video when monged out. It'd be immense.
Chromophobia Posted 5 March 2008 Posted 5 March 2008 Yeah I like this song, I listened to the album the other day though and on first listen it seemed like the blew their load on the first song 'time to pretend'. Still very good tune though.
Benji Posted 3 February 2009 Posted 3 February 2009 That's very inappropriate Benji... Sorry, I thought I was in the "Invite to a Party" thread
StanSP Posted 3 February 2009 Posted 3 February 2009 Sorry, I thought I was in the "Invite to a Party" thread :crylaugh: Nice comeback
Benji Posted 3 February 2009 Posted 3 February 2009 3 track album. Agree entirely: Kids, Electric Feel and Time to Pretend, can't stand the rest
Tilley Posted 3 February 2009 Posted 3 February 2009 Agree entirely: Kids, Electric Feel and Time to Pretend, can't stand the rest Oh, four track album at a push because Weekend Wars is ok.
Flynny Posted 3 February 2009 Posted 3 February 2009 Listen to it backwards twice. It just lacks substance and starts to get samey. It has 2 very good singles and then all the rest are fairly equally alright.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 4 February 2009 Posted 4 February 2009 Oh, four track album at a push because Weekend Wars is ok. That's normally enough for 2-3 albums for some bands.....like oasis
Head Honcho Posted 4 February 2009 Posted 4 February 2009 That's normally enough for 2-3 albums for some bands.....like oasis This is gonna be a good year for them I reckon-bit of a change in style from what I've heard and a few collaborations-can't remember who with though Great album, my favourite from last year by miles.
Libertine Posted 4 February 2009 Posted 4 February 2009 If you like this kind of thing, or Shoegaze/electro-ish stuff, check out Grandaddy. A.M 180 for starters. You might know it from 28 Days Later or Charlie Brooker's Screenwipe.

Good though.
lavrentis Posted 4 February 2009 Posted 4 February 2009 I'm listening to the album now and I probably only like Kids and Electric Feel. The others are just boring and sound the same.
