Nationwider Posted 8 March 2008 Posted 8 March 2008 'Kin hell! This probably means it'll be 0-0 at the Walkers this afternoon and that charred, acrid smell in the air is what's left of Thracian after he spontaneously combusts. Edit: ...and congrats to McKay. 5 goals at any competitive level is a fantastic achievement.

Steven Posted 8 March 2008 Posted 8 March 2008 From the OS. Leicester City U18 5-5 Norwich City U18Posted on: Sat 08 Mar 2008 Five goals from Billy McKay saved Leicester's blushes as they fought out a 5-5 draw against Norwich City at the Belvoir Drive training ground on Saturday. The Foxes trailed 5-2 with only ten minutes remaining before a late rally ensured they didn't walk away empty handed. The home side were reeling as Norwich started brightly and raced to a 2-0 advantage inside twenty minutes. But the Foxes were back in the game almost instantly - McKay quickest to react to a Ryan Beswick free kick. McKay was in the thick of the action again five minutes later as he was upended inside the penalty area. The striker picked himself up to make it 2-2 at the break. Leicester almost took the lead on 50 minutes but Steve Howard's dipping shot was turned away for a corner. Craig King saw his header saved before goals in the 54th, 60th and 70th minutes looked to have sealed the game for the Canaries. But City continued to push forward and were awarded a second penalty in the 80th minute when Jorrin John was felled by the Norwich goalkeeper. McKay took the spot kick to secure his hat-trick. A darting run by King five minutes from time was ended when the make-shift striker picked out McKay who volleyed home to set up a grandstand finish. The Foxes completed the comeback in the 93rd minute when Luke O'Neill's throw was flicked on by Scott Garner and McKay was in the right place to make it five-a-piece. City: Pentney, O'Neill, Garner, Rowe-Turner, Cobb (51 Chambers), Tuttle, Beswick, Burns (17 Howard), King, Chamberlain (31 John), McKay
