We need to Help the lads

Im not shoutng or telling anyone what to do im just, saying what i feel,i hope the lads show all the people that have gave up that they are wrong and we stay up and are a top side next season.(I am a fox and i will never quite)

People are supporting the team. However just because we get behind the lads, it doesn't mean that we can't hold the opinion that there is a very real chance that we will be relegated this year. I think some are getting "hope" mixed up with "rationalised opinion". I, for one, really do hope that we stay up, but having seen what goes on on the pitch, and using what little judgment I have, I think we have left it all too late, in spite of any improvements in recent weeks. But just because I think we will be relegated, it won't stop me getting behind the lads on Tuesday night. Unless I end up in the Geriatric Wing again, which is what is happening at all away games at the moment where seats are reserved.

Of course we will get behind the lads but someone who gets paid more in a week than most in a year should really have no excuse for motivation imo

I think you are over estimating how much Leicester players are on. Except maybe N'Gotty and Douglas

Well he's not over estimating how much I earn in a year

How are we meant to help the lads though? We're not allowed to Huuuuuuuuuuume, we're not allowed to sing Fryatt's song.

Maybe it's time to find some songs for the rest of the squad. :dunno:

Come off what?

It's true.

It's not as if you're not allowed to is it?

Some people just don't like the way people praise Hume for doing something that's not that great. As for Fryatt, I chant his name when he's on the pitch, but if it's the 20th minute and DJ misses a chance, it's not on really. Support the players on the pitch, in my opinion.

I do think there was a better atmos yesterday, perhaps cos the football was better (despite the fact that we couldn't score in a brothel at the moment). But I agree with this topic in the fact that we do have a part to play in our teams success or failure (yes I know the players do too before anybody comes back with that).

Now I think it's time we decided whether we condemn ourselves to league 1 and go down moaning about and booing our team, or we start to create a more positive atmos when we can (even if it's only 'the great escape' ad infinitum) and know that at least we did our part whether we stay up or get relegated.

And please, I'm not trying to tell anyone how to behave after they've paid their money etc, it's merely an opinion

Hey i fully agree.

But even if what Hume would have done, was good people would have moaned, and even then people appreciate the effort that Hume put in, which is more than most have done this season, and if people sang Fryatt's name, it's because he's the golden boy and they need to take their tinted specs off.

Oh yeah - I also love how people moan about our support, especially away. We sell out our allocation, yet people still roll their eyes. What more can we do?

We need some flags. And those "horn" things that the children are so fond of.

I don't think numbers automatically equate to 'getting behind the lads.' It's obviously support but plenty of times there's been similar numbers and there's hardly been a peep all game apart from to boo them off at the end, hardly getting behind them...

@ OP, think you set yourself up for a bit of a gunning geez haha but do agree with your point, yesterday was alright though.

Please be a bit more precise in what you mean by getting the behind the lads if its not a good attendance

Would you like to check your figues and then subtract 3000 Bristol fans :dunno:

Sorry about the figures thats what was qouted on RL. But take away the 3K BC fans and it leaves about just over 19k which would probably leave the 3rd highest gate in the ccc yesterday thats not bad for a club on the bottom rungs.

i dont think the atmosphere at home has been gd all season, the only time i remember it bein gd was birmingham last year wen we chanted great escape for nearly 90 minutes, i think we need to make more noise at home now, get behind them and hopefully the players shud respond. we make the noise away so whats the difference at home?

For me, the fans generally get behind the team when the team give them something to get excited about.

Take yesterday for example, we played pretty decent and created plenty of chances at both ends. Second half the Kop atmosphere was pretty decent and it was blatantly because we were having a good game.

For me, the atmosphere depends a lot on how the team are performing.

Not one of these fooking get behind the lads threads!

We do get behind them even though they don't deserve it, these threads wind me up even more than Clemence's bullshit captain's comments.

For me this argument is a nonsense. It's supposed to be about your football club, not the players. For me this argument is pathetic.
