Should hopefully be able to do 1st round draw tomorrow night.I have a theory regarding preventing cheating, and was wondering what the opinion of it was. Participants PM me to ask for the questions, i send them...they have 5 minutes. Their score is one point for each correct answer, and minus one point for every minute they go over this 5 minutes. In other words, if someone sends their answers back after 7 minutes, and get 8 correct answers, they would end up with a score of 6 points. I bollocked the explanation...hope it makes some kind of sense. Therefore cheaters, spending ages searching for the answers, would only affect their own score anyway. That makes sense actually. Last year we just got a 0 if we were too far over the 5 mins. Theres obviously gonna be lag times between getting the pms and sending them due to internet connection speeds etc aswell. Last year i was on msn to JoeB and hed tell me hed sent the pm and i wouldnt get it till a minute later losing a minute of the 5 everytime.

I will mention in this thread on each day of this week when I'm online and how long for, allowing people to PM. If people are going away on holidays for easter and so forth, I'm not sure how to work around this, but am open for suggestions. You post on here to say that you are here. Then NSLL will send you the PM with the questions. That too.

If by 8pm tonight when I'll be on there are 32, I will do the 1st round draw, then today people will have 2/3 hours tonight, and a lot of opportunities during the next 7 days to ask for the questions. We need 32 though first.

You should also give bonus points for example: If you complete it in 3 minutes you get 2 bonus points 1 for each minute left forcing people to do it quicker for extra points = less/no cheating perhaps.

Then you're guaranteed 2 points if you just send it back. We could lower it to 3 minutes and then scrap the bonus point idea? Thoughts. Come on 9 people....

When you get sent the questions there is a minutes worth of lag time easily between sending/recieving pms etc. 10 questions, 30 seconds a question is about fair. EDIT: With it being the Leicester game today, you'll do well to get 8 people without sending out pms to people who are on. Ill ask around on live chat and see what i can do to promote it aswell.

StroudFox 6 more people come on.... Decided on making it 4 minutes to prevent cheating, with a point lost for every minute over this time. Not really sure about the bonus point for less time though, because it would mean you need only do 5 and get guaranteed 6/7. There's no point really, thoughts.
