Alright will be doing the draw about 9pm tonight...hopefully we'll have 32.

If not, have a group back-up plan. :unsure:

Decided on making it 4 minutes to prevent cheating, with a point lost for every minute over this time.

Not really sure about the bonus point for less time though, because it would mean you need only do 5 and get guaranteed 6/7. There's no point really, thoughts.

you could still give bonus points but only if they get the right answer and hand it in early. :dunno: so if they get the answer wrong and hand it in early or if they just hand it in early without an answer then they don't get any bonus points. :dunno:

Nah too complicated. Just have points deductions for time over 4 minutes.

Alright deadline of 8 o'clock for 4 more people to sign up, otherwise will use my group backup plan. This will involve having 8 groups of 3, with the best 2 scores progressing. If we get 4 more will just be 16 matches of 1 v 1. If we got one or two more, some of the groups will have 4 participants, with 2 progressing.

Thoughts?

Just decided it's time to get a move on with this, before people lose interest.

So theoretically, the draw for the 1st round will be around about 8 30pm tonight.

I am on holiday, and have laptop so can be online most of the time. Definately any time after 7 this week will be on, but a lot of other times during the day. If any of the participants definately can't be on between 7 and 11pm this week, then please PM with a time you can be on, and will try and be there.

Hopefully, everyone will have completed the 1st round questions by 8 o'clock next Monday. That's the next draw time. Although obviously if everyone's answered by tomorrow, it won't be quite that far away.

I am giving 4 minutes to answer the questions, with a point deduction for every minute over this. However there are no bonus points for completing under this time.

If you ask for the questions, keep an eye on ur PMs. As soon as I send, the time starts.

Alright sign up now closed, 28 participants meaning 4 groups of 4 and 4 groups of 3, with 2 from each group progressing.

Draw will be made in separate thread within the next half hour. Am on till 11 tonight if people want to PM asking for questions.

But can also PM me between 7 and 11pm this week or ask for another time and I'll be on. Hopefully.
