Another one of those false dawns where we play like premier league contenders and then give a performance like the one today which wouldn't be fit for League one football!

initially reaction is why, after a week of saying how much this means to the club and the fans, how we'd turned corners, and all that crap, did we go back to playing 5-2-3, which has been proven to be rubbish?

at least palace did us a psychological favour, roll on next week, i believe we are due a win...

FFS it was Hull! They are THE form team of the league at the moment, what were you expecting?

This is gonna go to the wire, and luckily other teams have very, very hard remaining fixtures. Look at Cov and Southampton, that was a must win for both of them today, they drew. I genuinely can't see Cov picking up many points now.

how can you have that many crosses and so few chances, having no wingers and only two recognised midfielders, i guess...

and 44% possession at home, that's disgraceful....

We beat Watford - recently relegated, at the top of the table.

We beat Palace - on a good unbeaten run after the installation of a Warnock.

We turfed Norwich after a steady run after the installation of a Roedent, essentially the form team of the day.

We went to West Brom and spanked one of the top sides by three goals with a hint of luck.

Would it've been a huge surprise to beat Hull, the current form team based on our record this season? We beat the good sides and lose to the shit and everything in between...:giggle:

Coz "you dont change a winning team"... or some such garbage!

A 5-2-3 formation, topped off with dead slow forwards, at home just invited a kicking by an agressive team like Hull... barmy move by Holloway, beating 9 man WestBrom, away from home does not prove a system is worth retaining, said the same last week. :frusty:

The really anoying thing is that we took so long to realise the approch was totally wrong Etuhu at half time was the right move but we need to go further, pace up front (DJ for Fryatt) and I'd have been tempted to bring Clemence in and shift Hendrie to the left... still would have been better off just starting with 4-4-2 or [gasp] 4-3-3.

Thankfully Palace and Henderson have kept us above water, just!

So you thought we were just gonna carry on beating the hard teams for the rest of the season? Just because we beat some every now and again.

How important could that last minute CP goal be?

Well it could be but i really don't think it's Wednesday that are gonna struggle, it's Cov and Southampton.

God help us.

Let's hope he does!

Failing God maybe Richard Dawkins could lend a hand... or maybe just find a new god, one who could get us back to winning ways, I'm going to go with Set the Egyptian God of the underworld, he'd scare the sh*t out the current bunch of useless feckers!

This is THE WORST City team I've ever seen !! The Great Escape of '91 is what we need and I don't see it happening as we haven't got a Walsh or Mauchlen

leader.. absolute rubbish!! Holloway can go too as we are so tactically inept !!

I didn't expect anything from this to be honest. As an aside, looking at the table after this match, and the form of the top sides, Hull City to win the league anybody?

Posted

We need to be scraping what we can at home. Luckily Southampton and Cov only drew so there have been points dropped there. It's still verty tight, so lets not overreact. Had Wednesday won today then the table would have shown them to be a fair way above the drop zone, when it actual fact it would've only been two points.

I really feel that our goal difference might be our saviour.

The problem is we played so poorly and again you cannot see where the wins will come from THEN AGAIN, this wasn't the

Colchester, S****horpe, Sheff Utd, Barnsley of Sheff Wed games we need to win in !!!

It's out of our hands, but lets get the problems out of the way now and START OUR GOOD RUN NOW :crylaugh:
