If i was in there situation (which im not) im pretty sure i wouldn't need much motivating to realize the league situation that i was in.

C-man Posted 23 March 2008 Posted 23 March 2008 There's only so much Holloway can do to motivate the players. 30,000 people watching a relegation battling side is another motivation, you would have thought. Salaries of thousands of pounds per week is another motivation, you would have thought. Avoiding being the first Leicester City team to play in the 3rd tier of English football would be another motivation, you would have thought. But it's not. There's something wrong with our squad, and I'm not sure any manager out of work could sort it out.

The effect on them is minimal - unless there is some specific relegation clause they are guaranteed their contract terms and even if there is and despite their piss poor performances they'll be a long enough queue of desperate championship clubs waiting to sign them up.

I was out and about and too busy to get the results so text Raj and couldnt believe we have yet again lost a game following on from a win. We are in deep shite but I`ll always remain optimistic that we can get out of this situation and maybe mount a late challenge for the title Lets hope we manage to stay up and then look forward to some positive times.

Some clubs have this dark cloud hanging over it for a while and we are right in the middle of one of these flamin clouds at the moment. Newcastle, Leeds, Forest, Sheff Weds and others just get into this zone and cant do anything right regardless of the personnel at the club either on the pitch or board room. Our luck will hopefully change but its hard work supporting us at the moment.
