I thought clapham was rank

I thought Clapham was in between rank and decent. He was steady and composed but slowed the game down when you want him bombing forward!!!

And the point of getting a new manager now is?

Henderson - 8. Fantastic, some good saves, especially the peno. Shame it counted for fook all.

Stearman - 6. Alright, but nothing special.

McAuley 5 - Poor.

Kisnorbo 3 - Must have worst ball distribution on the planet. God awful.

Clapham 4 - Awful also.

N'Gotty 5 - Had no influence at all, thankfully subbed off.

Oakley 5 - No better than Clemence was, shit passing.

Hendrie 5 - Overreacting to every decision and showing some passion didn't compensate for dissapointing match.

Fryatt 5 - Not great at all, but some good link play with the strikers at times.

Hayles 6 - Didn't look too bad, fooked up when on break though.

Howard 4 - Acted like his hat-trick had earnt him game off, shameful display.

Subs:

Etuhu 5 - Hard to see why was so highly rated at Man City, nothing special. Yet.

Mattock 5 - Has been decent sub in recent weeks, no real influence today though.

Campbell 5 - No different to Fryatt...no real effect.

I think it was davieG who correctly rinsed me for saying that sacking him would definitely send us down. He said there is nothing definite about football and that's fair enough.

On the other hand, sacking him now would achieve what exactly?

Anyone who rates Barry as a 5 today is clearly deluded anyway ;)

The same as it was last season..

That was then, this is now. And Ollie is the man for the job.

Winds me up sometimes, people on here were singing his praises last week for his team because we beat West Brom 4-1. Plays near enough the same team but we lose this week and people start wanting him out.

Jokers.

As I said in a thread after the Southampton game I think, we were 5 points clearly of the drop zone, and with the way things panned out, we already had enough points to stay up last season before Wortho took over.

Do you REALLY think that we'd have beaten the baggies if they'd had 11 men?

Holloway's had enough opportunities to put a winning run together. And he's failed to take every single one of them.

Time to stop making excuses for him. Just accept he is way, way out of his depth. :@

:ermm:

...du du du du...fcuking useless...

No goals in four months now. And not once today did he ever threaten to challenge that statistic.

Henderson: 8 (Man of the match. Gave away the penalty but made amends by saving it and also produced three or four other quality saves, particularly from free-kicks to prevent an embarrassment).

Stearman- 7 (Our only other player to show any great urgency. Yes he made the odd mistake but even right at the end he drove forward at pace into the box as if he wanted to rescue the game).

McAuley 5 (He doesn't learn. His distribution so often simply presented the opposition with the ball back)

Kisnorbo 4.5 (At fault for their second goal and, again, his aimless punts out of defence and equally aimless free-kicks were totally unacceptable)

Clapham: 4 (What the hell did he offer us? Probably at fault for their goal and contributed nothing going forward as I noticed).

N'Gotty: 6 (No idea why he was taken off. A bit inaccurate early on but otherwise arguably our best defender).

Fryatt: 4 (Anyone with any doubts about this lad should have cleared his mind after today's inconsequential performance. Slow and insignificant).

Oakley: 4.5 (We were second to most loose balls in midfield and ou central midfield generally failed tomsupport the attack. Poor passing and poor decision making didn't help either).

Hendrie: 5.5 (Tried to play the ball forward to make something happen but generally looked laboured and second best)

Hayles 5.5 (Could so easily have made a priceless goal in the first few minutes but had decreasing impact)

Howard 5 (Dominant in the air but failed to direct his lay-offs and the team eventually suffered from aiming him high balls because it cost us variety)

Subs:

Etuhu: 2 (Already cloned into a City winger. Took no-one on at pace and his crosses were primnary school. Why the hell Gradel isn;t here I've no idea)

Mattock 3 (Probably needs to share a but of the blame for their second goal with Kisnorbo and generally had no impact)

Campbell: 4 (Too little time on the field. He needed to start because we were desperately short of pace)

I take it they had a fresh batch of Barbars in for you Thrac?

:D :D I've taken four Barber's tonight which at 8.something per cent reflects exactly how I'm feeling. But thanks anyway Ched. All adjusted.

I think he may have meant the second goal. lol (as he's noticed..).

Even after so much Barbars, he still makes more sense than most on here..

I just tried to get the kids a delivery, using the vouchers and the menu Pizza Hut put through the door last week.

"Sorry" says the minimum wage acne merchant "but we no longer stock that pizza" (the one that is split in four sections of four)

What is it about Pizza companies and City fans on a Saturday - last week it was Domino's pissing off LD3.

Bastards.

I say we make our own Pizza Company.

We could hire some polish folk and rake in the profit.

So your place'll be nice and shiny and clean - but who'll make the pizzas?

...I'll get my coat.
