Joe. Posted 22 March 2008 Posted 22 March 2008 Collectively awful. Henderson 8 Stearman 6 McAuley 4 Kisnorbo 4 Clapham 4 Oakley 5 Hendrie 4 N'Gotty 5 Fryatt 5 Hayles 5 Howard 4
Moreton Posted 22 March 2008 Posted 22 March 2008 Henderson - 6/7 - Made some good saves, good penalty save. Second goal didnt know what he was doing. Bruno - 4 McAuley - 4 Kisnorbo - 4/5 Stearman - 6 - Was one of our best players today. Clapham - 4 - Shouldnt have started. Hendrie - 3/4 - Had a shocker today, passing was terrible. Clumsy and didnt seem with it at times Oakley - 5 - Some good passes, lacked going forward. Fryatt - 4 - Didnt see much of the ball. Hayles - 5 - Our best player in the first half, some good play. Howard - 4 Saw nothing of last weeks performance at West Brom, should have had balls played to his feet instead of his head. Subs Mattock - N/A DJ Campbell -N/A Etuhu - 5 - Some good runs down the right hand side, took too long sometimes. We need to be playing the ball on the ground and to the feet of howard, too many long balls. Clapham shouldnt have started. There wasnt enough closing down, stood still sometimes. We are still in the shite
danny. Posted 22 March 2008 Posted 22 March 2008 Henderson had a great game, Mattock looked good when he came on, Sir Barrington of Hayles looked good all game. Sir N of the Gotty was dire. Can't be bothered with the rest. Holloway's tactics - WTF?

Shoud have kept Mattock in the starting 11. Benched Fryatt
Mark Posted 22 March 2008 Posted 22 March 2008 Henderson 7 Stearman 5 McAuley 3 Kisnorbo 4 Clapham 4 Oakley 4 Hendrie 4 N'Gotty 2 Fryatt 2 Hayles 5 Howard 3 Mattock - 5, DJ - 3, Etuhu - 3 No pace, no hope. Simple Ollie.
Simi Posted 22 March 2008 Posted 22 March 2008 Hendo - 7 - Shouldn't of gave penalty away in first place. Stearman - 6 Kisnorbo - 2 McAuley - 2 Clapham - 4 Oakley - 4 Hendrie - 4 N Gotty - 3 Fryatt - 2 Hayles - 6 Howard - 5 Subs Mattock - 3 DJ - 3 Etuhu - 5
Finnegan Posted 22 March 2008 Posted 22 March 2008 Henderson made some fantastic saves today but he was nowhere for the second goal and needlessly gave away the penalty. I'd say that's about an average performance at best.
Bert Posted 22 March 2008 Posted 22 March 2008 Hendo 7 - A saved penalty, a point blank save, 3 decent saves from free kicks. Stearman 6 - One of the better players, and that's saying something. Clapham 4 - After Mattocks display last week, i have no clue why Clapham started, offered little. Kisnorbo 4 - Seemed more interested in trying to crock Campbell. McAuley 4 - If Kisnorbo has a shocker, he does too. Bruno 4 - 4 successive games have caught up on him. Oakley 4 - Lost count how many times he gave away the ball. Lacked pretty much everything today. Hendrie 6 - At least he looked like he cared. Fryatt 4 - People moan at Hume on the wing, i wonder what people's views on Fryatt on the wing will be? Had our best chance, but went out for a corner. Hayles 6 - Enthuiasm and always gave his all, shame only 3 others played like him today. Howard 5 - Needless fouls when jumping, no communication. Etuhu 5 - Some good runs, even though they lead to goal kicks. It just goes to show, that even training on the pitch 2 days before will not help us. We were outplayed today by a team today, that wanted to play for each other. How many times did we test their keeper? I think none. 30,000 "fans" turn up and what do the players give us? I wonder how many will be at S****horpe next week. 19, 20k?
dog_4 Posted 22 March 2008 Posted 22 March 2008 even etuhu looked rubbish today. i really don't think the lads were up for a football match in the freezing cold inside a ground with no atmosphere. That was the worst atmoshere ever today, and that's saying something.

dog_4 Posted 22 March 2008 Posted 22 March 2008 everyone is resigned to being relagated and we're not even in the relagation zone. although we should be.
Ozwin Posted 22 March 2008 Posted 22 March 2008 Henderson 8 - Great saves and made up with his mistake on the penalty Stearman 5 - Kept losing the ball and giving it back to the keeper unecisarilly. McAuley 4 - Needs to keep his mouth shut at times. Kisnorbo 4 - Wasn't having fun with Campbell who had the referee on his side all game. Clapham 6 - Did well, didn;t think he should have been taken off tbh. Oakley 5 - Where was the creative flair? All I saw was him taking orders off the bench and telling others what t do when his game was no where to be seen. Hendrie 6 - I thought he did well, he's a gobshite like Savage was but tried to create things and pump things up. N'Gotty 6 - Shouldn't have been taken off, did well imo. Fryatt 4 - Pissing me off at his lack of pace, I don't see anything he gives us on the pitch. Hayles 5 - He was alright but I'm not going to lie and say he was immense, he played some nice passes and got in a rough and tumble when needed but he was offside too much. Howard 4 - It was him who scored last week right? Subs. Etuhu 5 - Alright, added spark when came on but lack of heading ability (Apart from Howard) meant his crosses were pointless. Mattock 5 - Was at fault for Folan's goal I thought, although did well going forward after that point. DJ Campbell 4 - Added a bit of pace but nothing spectacular came from his short while on the pitch.
Moreton Posted 22 March 2008 Posted 22 March 2008 everyone is resigned to being relagated and we're not even in the relagation zone. although we should be. Yes we are not in the relegation zone, but Sheffield Wed have 2 games in hand, which is very worrying. However there is 6 games to go which is enough. i hope because i cant bare to think of league one
Leicester Lass Posted 22 March 2008 Posted 22 March 2008 Henderson 8 Stearman 6 McAuley 4 Kisnorbo 4 Clapham 4 Oakley 4 Hendrie 4 N'Gotty 4 Fryatt 4 Hayles 5 Howard 5 Etuhu 5 Mattock 4 DJ 4
Legend_in_blue Posted 22 March 2008 Posted 22 March 2008 Henderson - 8 - Did what he is paid to do. Made good saves and put in some effort. Stearman - 3 - At fault for their first goal. Pissed about with the ball in the corner, instead of belting it away. Mcauley - 3 - No pace against that lump up front who scored their second. Woeful passing. Kisnorbo - 3.5 - Managed to "pass" it higher in the air than Mcauley, hence the 0.5+ mark. (Sorry for the sarcasm.) Clapham - 3 - Put some crunch into the tackle man! N'Gotty - 3 - Lack of pace showed and some woeful balls played. Fryatt - 2 - Abysmal. Oakley - 3 - Not a clue where to pass. Hendrie - 3 - Nothing worthy of note occured. Hayles - 5 - The only one who gave two hoots in the first half. Second half disappeared. Non-entity. Howard - 4 - No service. Subs - 2 - No effect. IH - 2 - No effect! Sat on the bench all game. Worrying. FOR ALL US SEASON TICKET HOLDERS OUT THERE, WE WANT SOME SORT OF REFUND. PEOPLE GETTING IN FOR A FIVER, AND US PAYING OUT UPWARDS OF £400. WHAT A JOKE!!! MM - IF YOU WANT YOUR "LOYAL SUPPORTERS" BACK NEXT SEASON, THEN GIVE US AN INCENTIVE. AT THE MOMENT, THERE IS NONE!
FleckneyFox Posted 22 March 2008 Posted 22 March 2008 Henderson - 7 - Maybe couldve done better with the goals but 3 or 4 outstanding saves made up. Distribution poor Stearman - 5 - Not great didnt have a busy day but what he did was poor McAuley - 5 - Awful distribution. Windass didnt give him to much hassle Kisnorbo - 3 - Campbell gave him the run around. Where was he when Folan strolled through? Clapham - 6 - I actually thought he was decent. Got forward well 1st half and defended ok N'Gotty - 4 - Passing was shocking and generally didnt look interested Oakley - 5.5 - Kept midfield running smoothly when he could Hendrie - 5 - Looked enthusiastic but passing was shit, when he chipped it for Barry and went out for a goal kick! Fryatt - 4.5 - Did he touch the ball? im being serious i forgot he was playing Hayles - 6 - Looked good down the left took on people. went missing 2nd half. did i hear C'mon Barry from the kop? Howard - 4 - Even after his exploits at the Hawthorns i still wasnt convinced and i still think hes shit. Etuhu - 5 - First touch was shocking kept taking the ball out of play Campbell - I dont think he touched the ball Mattock - Did nothing
Moreton Posted 22 March 2008 Posted 22 March 2008 I never thought i see the day when Henderson got much better ratings than the out field players.
Monk Posted 22 March 2008 Posted 22 March 2008 Hendo - 9 minus 2 for not attempting to save the second goal. Stearman - 7 Everyone else - 3 Holloway's tactics were horrendous. The peno 'foul' was right in front of me and I don't think Hendo touched him. Lino looked very unsure giving it.
lildave3 Posted 22 March 2008 Posted 22 March 2008 yeah got to admit he had know idea today, hardly came out of his dug-out. Shoud have kept Mattock in the starting 11. Benched Fryatt The amount of people saying don't change a winning team on here the other day was massive, now he's lost he has no clue?
Jack Posted 22 March 2008 Posted 22 March 2008 Henderson 7 Stearman 6 The rest 3 Awful, awful performance.
Father Ted Posted 22 March 2008 Posted 22 March 2008 Henderson 8.5 - Some great saves and the penalty save was fantastic. Stearman 6 - Solid McAuley 5 - Poor. Kisnorbo 3.5 - Shocking, Campbell pissed all over him! Clapham 4 - Too slow, should not have started and was harsh on Mattock to not start. Oakley 5.5 - Average. Hendrie 6 - Gave his best but final ball just not good enough. N'Gotty 6.5 - Was doing very well first half, breaking most Hull attacks up - Why was he taken off and not Fryatt! Fryatt 3 - Where was he? Hayles 5 - Broke well with the ball and his physicality was very welcome to the team, added a bit of muscle. Howard 4 - Still can't ****in head a ball!
Monk Posted 22 March 2008 Posted 22 March 2008 The amount of people saying don't change a winning team on here the other day was massive, now he's lost he has no clue? I think the problem was less the team selection, more the formation. Nobody seemed to have a true position today.
Daggers Posted 22 March 2008 Posted 22 March 2008 Hendo - decent Players - fooking shite Etuhu - unbelievably fooking shite Holloway - fooking obscenely shite Pizza Hut - cnuts.
Rodders Posted 22 March 2008 Posted 22 March 2008 I've been in Manchester all year, so this is the first time I've seen City for a while. I thought we actually looked pretty decent in the first half. I was impressed: we kept our shape well and were playing the ball around quite nicely, spreading the play, creating a few chances. I thought Hendrie had a good 45 mins, always trying to get on the ball and make things happen. Hayles, Stearman and Howard also all played well. But at half-time, a goal down, Ollie panicked and tried to go more attacking. So he took off a defensive "midfielder" in N'Gotty, whose passing may have been a bit suspect at times, but I thought he filled the anchorman role quite well, and replaced him with an out-and-out winger. Which also meant a change in formation, with Fryatt pushing out onto the other wing. WHICH NEVER WORKS, OLLIE! Second half was all long balls. Not even long balls up to Howard, but aimless long balls up to whichever of our four-pronged "strikeforce" was being marked most heavily at that point. Noticed that the team were too ashamed at the end to even come over and applaud the fans. I don't want him sacked - I think he needs to be given time - but I think Ollie has to take the blame today. Half-time team talk was a fooking disaster.
