Henderson made some fantastic saves today but he was nowhere for the second goal and needlessly gave away the penalty. I'd say that's about an average performance at best.

Oakley 5 - Where was the creative flair? All I saw was him taking orders off the bench and telling others what t do when his game was no where to be seen.

Hendrie 6 - I thought he did well, he's a gobshite like Savage was but tried to create things and pump things up.

N'Gotty 6 - Shouldn't have been taken off, did well imo.

Fryatt 4 - Pissing me off at his lack of pace, I don't see anything he gives us on the pitch.

Hayles 5 - He was alright but I'm not going to lie and say he was immense, he played some nice passes and got in a rough and tumble when needed but he was offside too much.

I've been in Manchester all year, so this is the first time I've seen City for a while.

I thought we actually looked pretty decent in the first half. I was impressed: we kept our shape well and were playing the ball around quite nicely, spreading the play, creating a few chances.

I thought Hendrie had a good 45 mins, always trying to get on the ball and make things happen. Hayles, Stearman and Howard also all played well.

But at half-time, a goal down, Ollie panicked and tried to go more attacking. So he took off a defensive "midfielder" in N'Gotty, whose passing may have been a bit suspect at times, but I thought he filled the anchorman role quite well, and replaced him with an out-and-out winger. Which also meant a change in formation, with Fryatt pushing out onto the other wing. WHICH NEVER WORKS, OLLIE!

Second half was all long balls. Not even long balls up to Howard, but aimless long balls up to whichever of our four-pronged "strikeforce" was being marked most heavily at that point.

Noticed that the team were too ashamed at the end to even come over and applaud the fans.

I don't want him sacked - I think he needs to be given time - but I think Ollie has to take the blame today. Half-time team talk was a fooking disaster.
